"My name is Dolton and I live in Virginia. My mom lives with my niece in Pascagoula, Mississippi. My mom's health has not been good in recent years. My mom's doctor said she needed to be placed in hospice care because of her declining health. My niece was referred to "Kare-in-Home" (the agency in Gulfport, Ms) to oversee her medical conditions in her last days. Anyway "Kare-in-Home made a visit last November (2021) and told family members what their intentions were and how they would take good care of her in her last days. On the day they were hired I spoke with the head nurse via phone call and ask him could he provide me updates of my mom's condition when he and his team made visits. He told me he would. Now it's December 29th and not one time did he or his team called me nor my brother who lives in Mississippi to provide us with any updates about my mom's condition. In fact, during the few visits his team made they wouldn't provide my niece any information regarding my mother's health. According to my niece and cousin, the nurses who came out one day recently were really rough with my mom and were very disrespectful to my niece and cousin. These actions are totally unacceptable. Today we have fired this agency! I highly recommend no one use this agency if you have a loved one that needs hospice care. They are not considerate, patient, nor caring for an individual."
