"My Realtor used this firm to close on our place. They failed to check with the county to see if the Seller homesteaded their property like the Seller reported. This ended up costing us $1,600. They gave us the run around for over a year. Then they said they’d try to get the Seller to give us the money back. They failed to collect. Mr. Purvis, or owner of the business, told us to “prove it.” We even showed him the county’s paperwork saying that it hadn’t been homesteaded since 2021. He refused to acknowledge their mistake and refund us. I wouldn’t use them again. Adults take personal ownership for their mistakes, these people obviously don’t. We use lawyers to avoid these problems, basically making these people useless."
