I wish I knew of them years ago. I have told all my family and friends if they ever need an attorney- please try Bond & Botes. Thanks Bond & Botes I really appreciate you all."
"This firm said there was nothing they could do about Trustee James Henley paying himself additional monies outside the 10% to which he was privy in my ch 13 br case. I was told basically that the trustee could pay himself whatever he chose. When I questioned these actions, I was threatened with recusal by this law firm. James Henley had a judge-approved bankruptcy plan prior to my house catching fire and I was already paying into this plan, with Henley taking 10% monthly. Upon receipt of insurance check and submitting it to trustee Henley to pay my creditors, trustee Henley paid himself an additional 10% of that insurance check, paid my creditors, then gave me the balance. When I spoke with my br attorneys, I was told that “this is the way Henley has operated for the part 30 years”, and a complaint by me would go nowhere. I am a paraplegic, surviving on SSDI. My home was not adequately remodeled after the fire because over $17,000 of the money was stolen under the guise of trustee payment."
"I filed for chapter 13 in September, my payments were reasonable, until December when Edwin Woods and Harold Barkley went behind my back and got a court order for an increase, which I was unable to afford I called, and sent documentation that I had no idea of the increase and I would not be able to afford it I asked to transfer it to a chapter 7 no one responded to that request These people would have literally ruined my life had I not decided to just let it go and not one time did I ever speak with Edwin Woods who was supposed to be the attorney over my case nor the trustee. No one helped I was so mad I canceled after 3 months and had invested over $5000.00 That’s sad I don’t understand how they are still in business"
