Reviews
"Great museum, sad to see what the family's went through. Very informative."
"What a place! For us out of stater's that were not involved with Katrina you almost felt like you were there. The devastation that these people went through. The information from ground zero, the pictures film and even the hurricane tunnel that you can enter. So much information. So informative."
"Wonderful little museum. I would suggest you visit if ever in the area. The volunteers are very knowledgeable."
"It's such a well put together museum that gives a very accurate picture of how hurricane Katrina affected the coast. There are many showcases of local art that was beautiful and intriguing."
"Wife and I came out to the area for a day of Geocaching (look it up if you don't know what it is, it's fun) one of the caches brought us to this spot. Didn't know this was here so we decided to go in. Having lived through my own experience of Hurricane Katrina back in Louisiana, the things in this museum really hit home. Loved the way it's displayed in a timeline of events. Definitely brought back some unpleasant memories but also made me grateful that me and my family got through it and did not receive the worst of the Storm as so many others had."
