Reviews
"Super charming state park really enjoyed our time here. Bathrooms are clean and it was perfectly close to New Orleans for us. We took an Uber into New Orleans and left our stuff in the campsite. Felt very safe."
"Very safe. Clean. Beautiful park. Quiet, not much going on but close to many activities. Doc on river in disrepair but other places to fish."
"It's beautiful even in January. Very well kept facilities. River is great for boating and bird watching, and the paved roads fantastic walking or biking."
"This park would get 5 stars if they keep up better with the sewer sites. We booked a camp site that has sewer dump to make our leaving morning easier. But the sewer was full, so we had to go to the park dump station. The roads in the park are very narrow and have no place safely to disconnect the toll vehicle. The view is great, not too far from the freeway and only a short drive to a Cafe Du Monde. I didn't get to check out their showers, but the building look nice from the outside."
"Nice campgrounds. Great boardwalk and large sites. My complaint is em that our particular site, 82, was really off-level. The other sites, not on our side, looked really nice. The woman at the office wasn’t very friendly but for $18 who am I to complain?"
