"It is a great place beautiful landscaping beautiful offering a great education"
"Over all this is a very nice school and campus to attend. They have updated a lot over the years. Attended my freshman and sophomore year here and currently doing some extend studies to further my degree. Very knowledgeable staff and security is always available. Classes are easily assessable and parking is available around the whole campus."
"I already don't like this school due to two instances. The first being that after we had returned our textbooks, all of a sudden we had been charged from $20 to $50 for damages that we didn't even do. When we checked the books out, they were exactly in that state, but they insist that they are correct due to mere scanners telling them that, if I recall correctly. I, for one, will never check out books again from there, but if I have to, I will take plenty of pictures about the state of the book and show them face front that this is the state of their textbook, because many f the ones they have had available, they were already damaged. The second reason is that there was an instructor in our class that brought many of our class' grade down by two letters based on ONE assignment that wasn't turned in on time. He is one that immediately inputs a grade and leaves it there the day that it is due without any second chances or extensions. I would understand that... if that was actually true. Our speeches were due weeks ago, for example, and he told us that if we don't do it during that time in class that it was due, that we had our chance. We'll just have to accept a zero. There were a few students that had not done their speeches during that time, but guess what? One of the students that a few of us were looking forward to hearing, they told us that theirs was extended after asking our instructor, and when another student asked our instructor during another subject within the same classroom, he admitted it! The speech was due weeks ago and it was during exam finals, yet theirs was extended after said weeks. Yet he immediately puts down the grade regarding this assignment and refuses to change it. One of my classmates, when I encountered him outside, stated that he told another staff member about how much this badly affected him. That staff member suggested him to go to one of two people, since the grade could be changed. I agreed that it could since I had two other instructors that changed a few of my friends' grades, even after our exams, that turned in late work. I wanted to hear what would happen since I was affected by this as well. After his meeting with one of them, we talked. He told me that she was apparently the supervisor of our instructor. She stated to my classmate that he could not change it. That they had to go through a lot of trouble doing so, which I doubt since other instructors did so easily. She also stated that it was due to an overload of work that our instructor had. Sounds like a lack of organization of our school or instructor, because we were supposed to do a completely different finals, yet couldn't due to, what our instructor said, lack of time and tons of work, yet when we say the same regarding any of our assignments, we are not allowed to have any excuses. She also told my classmate that the learning lab and she herself would allow him to print anything he would want for free. Literally no one told us about the learning lab having free printers, and it was by the library, where we had to pay. How were we supposed to know? Not to mention that my classmate did ask our instructor if he knew anyone else around the school that would let us print for free, and he said no! Then she just said that she does the same since "if we did it for one, we would have to do it for all". WELL YOU DID DO IT FOR ONE. Shame on this school. Seriously. Thank goodness this is my final year, since I've already had it with this place and their lying, biased instructors and manipulative book keepers. I suggested my friends and that classmate of mine to switch schools as soon as we are done with the next year. This, especially with what our instructor had done, made ourselves feel miserable. Some of them outright FAILED the course just because of that assignment, even though he said that it wasn't the most important one AND despite most the people that were affected doing all of their other work on time and with great grades in all of them. All that work for nothing. What garbage."
"my daughter registered for 2nd 5 week summer course that started July 1st. The last day to drop with a refund was July 4. The college was closed July 1-5 and the next business day was July 8. We were told she wouldn’t receive a refund because she didn’t drop it on the days they were closed. We spoke to everyone possible and were told there’s no refund. They may have made a few dollars of of us but they won’t receive anything else. Please consider other colleges for your online courses. Very disappointed with this institution."
"Great place for an associate's degree, phenomenal nursing program, even great arts and theater departments. The campus has recently added a number of technical and vocational buildings. They also offer adult literacy and high school equivalency programs. Just ask the counselors for details. My only complaint during my time there was a lack of parking during peak classroom hours."
