"The Nursing Program is for the birds. They do not have traditional educators for the RN program. Airjunct instructors or RNs that do not follow the curriculum of the program is not acceptable. The instructors there over the program are thrown in there to teach but they have different curriculum than what's on the syllabus. One teach one thing and the other make the test which the test is not from the literature on the curriculum or the book assigned to the program. I am done sending students to this school for their program. Back in the days...the program they had for nursing was acceptable. Now....it's not. Just mine and other opinion."
"Worst school I have ever attended. I have experienced racial discrimination and been cheated out of points from test questions which contributed to the high fail rate percentage. Test questions do not align with book content and when you request for the test item to be reviewed that instructor gets offended because they feel like they’re never wrong. An instructor stated that if that’s what it takes “failing students” to keep their NCLEX pass rate up that’s what they’ll do. The dean has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen and is very disrespectful to students. I definitely would not recommend this ADN program to anyone!!!!"
"Do not expect any competence from the business office or the school. They required a science to be renewed (financial exploitation from a student) and then relayed that it was all set after completion. Got an email that I wasn't accepted.. Why? THEY DIDN'T UPDATE MY TRANSCRIPT as they claimed to have done. The nursing instructors are 3/5 stars. The PTA program is ran by a narcissistic witch. Don't expect to get your moneys worth out of this school"
"Worst. SCHOOL. EVER. They treat their students like trash. You are racially profiled from day one. I was purposely called the wrong name every day by one teacher, when I asked the teacher Ms. Sanford why was she calling me that name she stated because I reminded her of a poor black character that she saw on TV. The tests don't make any since and they don't want you to challenge answers on the tests. You can't report them to the dean because they all stick together. If I could give them less than a 1 I would. They should close down."
"Those instructors and high administrators at Hinds CC tried to count me out . Targeted me from the begining. Tried to get me to drop out , stole points away from me, even made me repeat my final semester because they said i was predicted to fail the NCLEX . I passed the NCLEX the first time by the way ."
