"I absolutely love and adore my Loft at The Parks of Slidell. It is roomy, quite, and the neighbors I have met are sweet and friendly. Parking is 1st come, 1st park and I can always get a space close to my unit to take my babies upstairs or downstairs. Pros: spacious, plenty of cabinets, updated appliances, and awesome staff. Cons: residents sign leases to pick up after their pets they love so much, but don't and the grass won't get mowed with all the dog poo. My dogs have harnesses that accommodate poo-bags and I use them. Please clean up after your pets before we all are charged for it in the area of poo. Office staff is amazing and always willing to answer questions. I'd highly recommend moving here with all their specials. $199.00 first month rent deal until the end of August; savor that back to school deal. I was shown numerous units, so come see them why choices are good."

"Just find somewhere else … There front office workers always have attitudes , never answer the phone or call you back and The head manager is never there . Plus it so far has taken the company 4+ months just to recieve our deposit back. The unprofessionalism is out of line , and I do not recommend staying here."

"It’s really sad how much this place has gone downhill in the past few years. I lived here for a few years and in that time the rent has increased by almost $300 for the smallest (600sq ft unit) with not a SINGLE improvement made to any available unit. We had mold in our unit, our dryer vent was not vented properly so no matter what our entire bathroom was covered in lint, and pretty much none of the promised maintenance that is IN the signed lease was ever done. I think in the 3 years I was there, our AC filter was changed twice by maintenance. There was obviously no pest control done, debris from IDA is still in the parking lot along with some damage on the building that has YET to be fixed. I know multiple neighbors who have plenty of issues with current ownership and maintenance but are stuck in their leases and i feel for them. It’s always an excuse and you pay astronomical prices, but never see a dime go back into the properties upkeep or improvement. I can’t believe that these problems arent being addressed and people are now having prices increased when it’s a complete disaster. Hopefully something gives and changed are made but until then, don’t spend your hard earned money on rent at this place!"

"This place used to be great a year ago. Ever since the new owners took over its been horrific. Took them over 5 months to fix our a c . Would never answer the phone . Always a diff excuse. But the worst part is coming home on July 1st with a piece of paper and a rubber band on our door giving us 29 days to get out and for no reason whatsoever given not renewing our lease. No noise complaint. Not once ever late on rent. Didn't even have the decency to let us know they werent going to resign us before the month our lease was up when inflation is record high and its extremely hard to find affordable housing. If this is considered good business practices then I fear for the future of crossgates."
