"SMO is very helpful if you are a senior on limited income. They help with monthly groceries, and assist with utility bills when the monthly payment is too much to pay."
"McComb Office. I starting calling this office last week and no one answered the phone so I walked in to try and make an appointment where the Secretaries only took my name and phone number and said they would call me but they did not because they purposely wrote my name down wrong. Yesterday I tried calling again and someone hung up the phone in my ear so I contacted FISCAL OFFICER "Dorothy Rogers" and told her that "I felt like I was getting the run around", so she had someone call me ten minutes later to do my intake application over the phone and set me up an appointment for 8-30-23. One hour after that someone called from the McComb office to re schedule it for this morning at 8:30 am. I showed up with all my paperwork and was dis respected the whole time I was there. I raised my voice only and demanded that I be called "Ma'me" and not purposefully "Sir", which they where doing just to anger me. My USA passport says "Female" so I pulled it out to show her. Ten minutes later the Police where called and they tried to over exaggerate everything I said to get me arrested but they had nothing on me. It is apparent that I cannot finish my application now that I was forced to leave by the Police. Also when I got to the building this morning for my appointment they said it was required that they take my temperature and wear a mask and said nothing about that over the phone. I refused for them to take my temperature. CDC does not require it and they should not deny my application for that purpose. They do not want to help me because I am Transgender."
"Caring people!"
