"What appeared initially to be an amicable purchase of a vehicle from Direct Auto in St. Martin, MS has become an uncomfortable situation . BUYER BEWARE!! Within the first week of owning the vehicle the check engine light came on. Still driving relatively well, I set up an appointment for 8 am on a Tues morning to drop off the vehicle for diagnostics and repair. A couple of days later I was notified that the service department has ordered a part ( a converter kit to fix an issue with emission) It is now Friday morning, and still without my car. Calls to the dealership have in no way relieved the situation. Being given the run around and kept in the dark. There isn't a way of contacting their service department directly. No effort has been made to keep me informed, nor any help in alleviating the bleeding of funds from having to hire an Uber to get to their repair shop and getting to and from work. Any item that is shipped has a tracking number attached to it. The least they could have arranged for was to return the vehicle to me until the part came in. This whole episode, it appears to me, could have been handled better, friendlier, and in a more professional way. Extremely disappointed and concerned as to the condition of the vehicle whenever they decide to return it to me."
