"The flats was a great, almost magical, space. The sound of the storm on the porch under that metal roof is an experience I won't forget. We, a family of 5, stayed in Ashland and it was spacious, clean, and cozy. The manager of the grounds was kind and informative. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. For dinner, we went in to Greenwood and found several yummy options. We definitely plan to come back!"

"This place is 100% awesome! If you want a peaceful getaway with a great Delta view, then this is the place to be! These real tenant farmer houses make great modern day cabins. The Tallahatchie river is but a few yards behind the cabins and their access area to the river is just a short walk from your cabin. It would be great if they had a pathway right behind the cabins that allowed you to walk back to the river, and of course some picnic tables or swings overlooking the river would be great, but even without it, we are already planning our next stay there. No need to bring groceries, as you can be shopping in Greenwood in under 10 minutes. I'd suggest a dozen Fresh Donuts from Honest Abe's Donuts while your there... The kitchens are well stocked with plates, glasses, and such, but if you plan on cooking, be sure to bring your own pots & pans, because they do have a few, but more than likely not what you need. We have rented cabins all over Mississippi, and I would have never expected my favorites to not have a view of the water, but Tallahatchie Flats is by and far my favorite cabins in the State of Mississippi! Oh yeh, we stayed in Palo Alto and loved it."
