Reviews
"Great bookstore. Wonderful service."
"This place is wonderful. My family is happy to support this amazing book store!"
"Nice little local shop. They have a great regional section and sell some used books that benefit the library. The shop feels welcoming but it was hard to find specific books. The staff member at the cash register was taking a long personal phone call on speaker phone for the first 5 minutes I was browsing and that was a little distracting. I know some locals order books in if it is not in stock and have had a good experience with that. Nice children’s section. I found some great postcards. In the end I would definitely recommend checking this place out."
"My family is in Vicksburg for vacation and dropped in to look around. We have a two month old and a loud two year old. Tori was so sweet to my daughter and even gave her a dinosaur book, a coloring book, and some crayons for free. They have a great selection of books and a cool vibe. Definitely recommend if you're traveling through!"
"I like the interior of the older stores, and Lorelei Books feels like the bookstores I've read about in old England or New York. I found one of the most readable, annotated translation of Dante (in my opinion) and another sailing book that I couldn't get at the library. The staff is very friendly, and allow you to browse freely. Every time I go to the store I ask myself why I don't go there more often. Neat place."
