River Bend Apartments

"After the April 13th tornadoes, four apt. units were badly damaged. It took 2 whole months before the owner's regional supervisor came out to look at the damaged units. It's absolutely ABSURD the conditions 3 tenants lived in for over two months before anyone at home office even showed up to see the damage first hand. Finally, after two months of nobody from home office checking on the 3 tenants, a lady shows up, pretends she didn't know just how badly the 4 units were damaged and the unsafe, dangerous and ridiculous conditions these poor tenants endured for months. (She HAD TO HAVE KNOWN THE SEVERITY OF THE DAMAGE BC THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER WAS OUT AT THE APTS 3-4 DAYS AFTER THE STORMS HIT THE APT BUILDING! She pretended like she cared about the tenants and their horrible living conditions, the tarps they were living under in their units and the damage that was done to furniture, etc caused by the construction crew...not even the tornadoes! She put 3 tenants up in a hotel room for a week and a half! The units were still nowhere near completed but she cancelled the hotel rooms and said the tenants were on their own. This apt complex is decent; the units are fair, but the owners of Fair Properties, is absolutely horrible! They don't care about their tenants in Delta, LA. They are ugly when you contact them, refuse to listen to complaints, and will give you a fake email address if you want to send them pictures of your very badly damaged apt unit. I don't recommend these apts to anyone. It's not because of the apt units themselves. It is because Fair Properties is a joke. They aren't caring, sympathetic to their tenants and are just not nice people at all. So stay away from the RiverBend Apartments in Delta, LA."
