"I’m very aggravated with this doctor and his office! He really tried to help get a surgery for my back. I had the surgery and had tons of issues after the surgery! I would call and explain the issues and it would take days to get a response! Also the nurse for Dr. Dietze is so very rude. The office knows how rude she is! Seems like she hates her job! I told Dr. Dietze I was in extreme pain and they ordered another mri, with the results it states I had issues with a protrusion against my Dorsal root, so I asked them and they said nothing about it. He is a neurosurgeon and knew nothing about this. So instead of trying to help an existing patient with surgery failure he and his staff gave up! They said it would be 2 months for me to get an office visit knowing that I was on my last steroid injection and it would only last 4 weeks the nurse Margie would not help! So I called another office and the lady got me an appointment sooner than Dr. Dietze office. She told me that Dr. Dietze nurse had a issue with me. Sad situation being 35 years old having a horrible back problem! So I went out and researched two more doctors that had been highly recommended, explained the pain and my Situation and they worked with me to see them in a matter of weeks! Dr.dietze office only cares for new patients, insurance checks and not fixing patients they have already seen! The two doctors Ive recently seen ordered different types of test and discovered I have a severely pinched nerve around my L4 area and they could do a very small procedure to help fix my problem! I hate to write bad reviews but I’m only writing this to inform people, research the surgery, if the people there aren’t happy then there may be underlying issues with the office. I pray to be fixed correctly after the original doctor gave up on me and told me to buy new work boots! Like I was crazy and didn’t have pain! They kept telling me it’s Neuropathy, the pain would go away, so we did a nerve conduction study and I didn’t have the issue they were suggesting. Every time I called I would cringe when Margie would talk to me like I was an idiot after calling numerous times to get a call back! I hope if anything after reading this you will get more then 1 doctors opinion! This is your life so you make your own decisions!"

"I had my first visit with Dr. Dietze, today and I cannot speak highly enough of him and his staff. Everyone I encountered was helpful, comforting, and compassionate. There were no short answers, rushed or exasperated responses. Ms. Gerri scheduled the appointment and answered my barrage of nervous questions. Dr. Dietze's nurse, Margie, was kind, patient, and attentive. Then there was Dr. Dietze; it's been a long time since I've had a doctor enter an exam room carrying no notes or laptops/tablets. He pulled up a chair, sat directly across from me (no desk separating us) and spoke WITH me. He explained everything completely, answered all of my questions, listened to what I wanted and then we worked out the treatment TOGETHER. He didn't break the flow by taking notes nor was he distracted by phone alerts. He honestly listened to my concerns and factored them into our plan. It was like "the old days." He was genuine, his bedside manner was excellent, and he was thorough. He did run late (I read online that he often does), but gosh, to have that level of attention and patient-centered care was well, WELL worth it. If you find yourself in the situation of needing a neurosurgeon's consult, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Dietze."
