"Fairbanks doesn’t deserve to be called a physician. I have legitimate pain and refuse to take pain medication. Just seeking help to find a way to manage the pain. He refused to help me then sent me paperwork for addiction centers. I don’t take pain meds and get treated like an addict because I’m young and at his office for help. He is disgrace to people who actually need help."

If you’re seeking a new doctor that listens, treat people with respect and have compassion please reach out to Alen Torrey in Vicksburg, Ms. Also, make sure you’re checking what your insurance company is being billed for, Fairbanks seems to charge for services he never performed."

"Dr. John H. Fairbanks is a terrible Physician. He lacks beside manners, looks down on people, and has near zero social graces. Example being my mother used to go with my brother to his appointments and would be cut off or ignored when she spoke instead of my brother who is a seizure patient and for some time was unable to speak for himself. I now go with him to his appointments, and he is quite dry in manners to me as well. We prefer his PAs and the nurses there to even speaking to him if possible as they are beyond nice and helpful. The office isn't a bad place, JUST HIM! If we had another option closer to home for pain management we would take it in a heartbeat. Sadly, that is not the case."

"AWFUL DOCTOR! Save yourself the time and money and find someone else!! Office staff was RUDE. LONG wait, Fairbanks told me The 30 extra pounds I have is the cause of my weight. Said I was too young to be on pain medicine but recommended marijuana!! UM NO. What he doesn’t know is I’ve had 3 kids in the past 3 years and 2 out of the 3 did not live. He told me my psychiatrist needed to up my antidepressant because according to his evaluation it needed to be stronger. Um how would you know? Because YOU WOULDNT SHUT UP LONG ENOUGH TO LET ME SAY ANYTHING. Just awful doctor all the way around."
