"This place is something else. I come here with someone. Today their appointment was at 12 we get here on time, here it’s now 3PM. We have sat and watch people get here way after us be called to the back. Yes, we went to the window and ask can they make sure we was check in and of course their attitude staff who don’t want to be bother said yes you are check in, you just have to wait with an nasty attitude!!"
"First and foremost , let me start with the first visit and impression of Dr Fairbanks…. First visit, sweet as syrup!! Acted like he was very concerned with my condition, 2 spinal fractures and fractures of the foot and ankle from an automobile accident…. I thought I finally found a Dr that gets me and wants to help me. I didn’t come to this clinic requesting pain medication. I wasn’t on anything at the time except for the muscle relaxer , Tiazidine. However, the pain was starting to get more severe day by day bf being refereed to him. He immediately comforted me and told me he would help me find the best doctors in the state to evaluate me for surgery. BUT he said “ You have to get different insurance in order for me to refer you!” I thought that was strange considering I was a single mother with two children at home. The next visit we did MRIs and X-rays etc and he prescribed me 5 mg of hydrocodone 3 times a day for pain. It helped me so much and I’m forever grateful. About 6 months rocked on seeing him every month I finally asked when we would go ahead with sending me to a neurosurgeon. He acted like he knew nothing about referring me and got absolutely irate I had no choice but take his rants( which is quite often from his past NP’s that got enough and quit, oh and the time I was in his care, 4 NP came and went.. hello. Who is the problem) so ..I was stuck with someone who screams and throws fits like a child ! He orders testing and even require you to have spinal Injections JUST to collect my Medicaid money!! I finally got my referral to LSU Shreveport and had spinal fusion from L2-S1. So yes he did help me get my spine aligned and fused back in place. Actually his receptionist helped me get my surgery!! After recovery from my back, I suggested we start on my foot and ankle. Immediately he raised his voice and told me he was tired of me and my medicaid insurance and if I wanted him to help me I would HAVE to have different insurance …. I left in tears once again. How did he take an oath and treat his patient the way he does is beyond me … no compassion. Zero. He is a man with a lot of characteristics of a Narcissist if I have ever seen one ! He even claims to be a Christian, something I don’t take lightly being a child of God myself. In the 2 years I was in his care, I never saw one christ like attribute from this man ! Thankfully , I married , and was able to enroll with my husbands insurance company!! As soon as my next visit , he came in the door so excited to see me !! Talk about split personalities. He was ready to help me again. Which meant more test and procedures so my new insurer would pick up paying his fees for such tests I got my foot and ankle fused in 2022. Less than 8 months later, and he walks in room and starts crazy talk again. He walked out the room and told me not to come back. No notice nothing !! I also noticed the huge turn around in his office with his entire staff . Watch out for pill swaps in the parking lot also! Happens every visit !! Apparently, he treats his staff the same way he does his patients (mind you I’m paying your bills sir ) He is not what he makes out to be. He is a coward ! Unless your totally desperate like I was to have immediate surgery and relief, I would stay away from Mr Fairbanks"
"No one but God made sure I was not in this room today. My wife who is a cancer patient and lupus patient broke her knee in 4 places and her foot in two and this dude tells her she needs to loose weight. I looked u up u r a big look belly man..the woman she looks in her 30 r 40 with a 63 year old man wonder y he is miserable it's cause he can't keep up with his home life his woman probably calls him fat like he dose all his patients fyi she ain't fat she is healthy thank God she is a cancer patient/ survivor be greatful she for this I won't sleep till those license r taken still has weight..u going down"
"Fairbanks is the type of doctor who drives people to suicide at worst and the streets at best. His complete disregard for new patients in pain yet prioritizing the people having drug induced episodes in the waiting room is abhorrent. This man insulted my mother, grandmothers, and all women through a video awhile he pokes fun at your weight and refuses to even let someone defend themselves without threatening them. Takes full advantage of the medical board not punishing the lack of b ed side manner. If I wasn't on my psych meds and did go through with suicide he would be the reasonn in the note. He is a evil man wanting/impersonating a man of christian beliefs"
"I had my first appointment with Dr Fairbanks. I really dont understand why so many people give bad reviews. He seems very knowledgeable. He was matter of fact and to the point with me and actually took time to look at my records. I have seen several other doctors, some of whom, I dont feel even looked at my records and dismissed me. I do need pain meds, for now, but i am hopeful not to need them forever. Iwant to get better! So many people seem to be complaining! If there is something he can do or I can do to get myself better then I am gonna do it. Being in pain isn’t fun, but some of y’all complaining aren't helping yourselves! If you actually listen to what he is saying instead of worrying about your feelings getting hurt then you might be able to get to a healthier place in your life! He isn’t there to be your friend, he is there to be your doctor and to try and get you better. If you need a friend, get a dog…."
