Sicily Island Medical Center

Patients will not be denied access to services due to inability to pay, as discounted services are available based on family size and income through a sliding fee schedule. The center has been in operation since 1979, starting in Catahoula Parish and expanding across multiple parishes. Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Debra Miesch, the center has made significant advancements, including the establishment of a dental clinic, mental health facility, mammography services, and modern equipment. The staff at Sicily Island Medical Center is committed to meeting regulatory standards and providing the best care possible to the community. Additionally, the center works closely with Ferriday Family Health Clinic and Wisner Medical Clinic to ensure comprehensive healthcare services for patients in need.
