"This is the BEST PLACE, (HANDS DOWN) for Animal Boarding EVER! They took suck Great care of My Nahla, we will be using them again. It is her Home away from. Thank you So Much for Showing Love to Our baby girl!"
"I have always taken my dog and cat to Florence Animal Clinic. I get them seen yearly or so there and get their vaccinations. They're not perfect, but I've always overlooked the smaller things. But today, I called with an emergency. My cat, who was adopted and has a disease that can lead to gum problems, lost a tooth and another was loose. I let the lady know I thought he may be in pain and I was concerned. She, however, was not. She told me their were no available appointments this week and only dropoffs next week. Then, she told me we were overdue on the yearly visit and vaccinations and would need to have those when we come in. I told her I was very concerned and would try to get him in somewhere else to be seen if they could not see him, and she just told me ok. That was all. Her lack of compassion was too much. Their inability or unwillingness to get my pet in when he really needed it broke my heart and left me dumfounded and wondering what to do now. These are my pets doctors, and I trusted them to take care of him, not just to see him once a year and be done with him. So I got it together and called the other vet in Florence and told the lady there my concerns. She got him in within the hour. It turns out his dental problems are pretty bad and he needs dental work. His gums are inflamed. They gave him antibiotics and something for the inflammation and scheduled the dental work for Tuesday. So it wasn't me overreacting. He's probably in pain, and Florence Animal Clinic has not a care in the world about whether he is or not. If you're looking for someone to schedule you once a year, I would still go elsewhere. If you want someone who will be there when your pet needs to be seen, you might try looking elsewhere. I get that they have appointments, but emergencies don't happen on a schedule. It's heartbreaking to have to go somewhere else. I've been here for over ten years, I think. I never even considered that I would call and they would refuse to help. I'm astonished, honestly. AS FOR THE RESPONSE BELOW: You didn't recommend anything. Don't lie. I don't think you should be in business. You appear to take money for routine visits any vet can handle and refuse help when anything more complicated is required. You didn't feel comfortable working on his teeth after he was a few months late to his routine appointment? It wasn't two years since his last appointment when this happened. You did the math from your reply, not from my post in January six months ago. I like how you blame me for your shortcomings. I feel like you had an obligation since you always see him and never said a single thing about his dental hygiene other than to brush his teeth. It sounds like that's something you missed or failed to talk to me about. So maybe you're not very good at regular appointments either. Thank God there are competent vets within driving distance."
"Not only do I love this vet but my dog is always so excited to see everyone there!!! They really do care for your animals. Everyone takes the time out to stop and talk and pet my dog every time! Always smiling and happy to take the time out to answer any questions you may have. Unlike other places where they get you in and out as fast a possible."
"These people have taken care of my Angel Daisy and now Sassy. They are themselves-angels and should receive HAZARD PAY!!! ❤️"
