"As an adult there are very few options for help with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). Before discovering the Auditory Processing Center, I had seen several doctors, neurologist, and specialist that were reluctant to discuss my sensory issues and triggers of sound, light, and motion. Most told me that I should talk to a psychiatrist. As I tried to manage my sensory triggers on my own, I felt vulnerable and sometimes exiled from experiencing the joys of life with my family and friends. After an exhausted online search, I stumbled across the Auditory Processing Center’s website and was pleased with how easy it was to get an appointment. Moreover, it was refreshing to be able to finally discuss my issues with someone that understood. Alicia’s evaluation revealed that I was suffering with Amblyaudia (lazy ear) where one side of the brain suppresses auditory input to the opposite side. After just 4 weeks of Auditory Rehabilitation for Interaural Asymmetry (ARIA) therapy along with at home Safe and Sound Protocol Listening therapy, my scoring improved from Severe Deficit to Improved Mild Deficit to in some areas Normal. The bottom line is that my mental stamina has greatly improved, and I can now begin to enjoy life once again without fear."
"The Auditory Processing Center and its staff have been a tremendous asset to my family. We were able to quickly get our son diagnosed and treated. Alicia has been very kind to answer all of my 1 million questions regarding the disorder and my son's progress. We are forever thankful!"
"My daughter first visited Auditory Processing Center 2.5 years ago after a referral from a friend. The staff was very willing to discuss my concerns about my daughter and answer questions about their process and auditory testing. We had concerns about speech and language but had not found any answers prior to visiting Auditory Processing Center. My daughter was tested and Alicia discussed the results and her recommendations all in one trip to the center. Testing indicated my daughter had an auditory processing disorder and would benefit from auditory therapy and a Roger focus microphone system. When my daughter received her listening system, we immediately noticed a difference in her interaction with her peers as well as adults. She worked through various therapy assignments over the course of 2 years. After her last round of therapy and testing, she scored average or above in all areas! Her ability to process language and adequately communicate has completely changed her attitude and socialization. She enjoys reading for the first time and interacts with her peers on an age appropriate level. We are so thankful for the expertise and services provided by Auditory Processing Center."
"Alicia is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the diagnosing and treating of auditory processing disorders. She is very dedicated to determining the most effective treatment approaches to improve our son’s auditory processing disorder. The gains he has made thus far have, in turn, resulted in improvements in his self-confidence, his social interaction with his peers, and his academic performance. We are so grateful for the impact Alicia and the Auditory Processing Center has had on our son!!"

She is very knowledgeable, cares about each child individually, and really wants to see parents help their children grow and succeed. I would highly recommend Auditory Processing Center! All of our children have received therapy services from Auditory Processing Center, and we have been so pleased with high quality, highly individualized therapy and supports that Alicia provides each child. Each child had different needs, and she tailored therapy to target each child's individual goals. My encouragement is not to delay seeking help for your children. If you are concerned about your child's auditory processing skills, I highly recommend you place an initial call to Auditory Processing Center."
