"I have had 3 experiences with this Hospital here in Gulfport. I have Cigna Medicare Advantage and my first experience was with the imaging department. My Dr. Scheduled me for a chest ct . I checked with my insurance carrier if there was a copay or coinsurance. Cigna told me no, there was no copay, or coinsurance. I set up appointment for the test. Upon my arrival, I was sent to insurance clerk (Red Headed lady). She tells me I owe a $95 copay. I explained to her that Cigna said this was a preventative procedure and there was no copay. She told me if I didn't pay the Copay, I would not be given the test. She refused to contact Cigna regarding what she said was a required copay. I left this Hospital and canceled the test. Cigna notified Singing River Ocean Spring and spoke to a billing supervisor there who agreed. There was no copay for this procedure and had to reschedule the appointment for 4-11-23. I returned for the rescheduled appointment, same lady waited again on me. Proceeded to explain and have me sign their privacy policy. She printed off some papers and including hospital band and some labels for the imaging department and handed me a bunch of papers. I walked to imaging department and checked in handing the bundle of papers I was give. The receptionist returned to me all the papers but the one with the labels on it. All imaging staff was in ER so while I waited I looked at the bundle of papers. The top page said things like; your. BP today was , your A1C was, etc. I thought, how do they know my blood pressure or A1C , when No one had taken my BP nor any blood work done. After further inquiry, these were the patient that checked in before me paperwork with his private information. I returned it to the Red Headed lady's office and explained to her this was not my paperwork. With her condensing attitude stated " I am sorry we failed you today". I preceeded to tell her she didn't fail me, she failed the patient before me by giving me his private information and violated HIPPA privacy regulations. I would not go to this hospital if I was dying. Twice they have tried to charge me a copay when none was due, which is medicare fraud. They even had their collection company contact my Durable Power of Attorney for health care trying to get a $18.70 payment when I had a total balance due on my. Account of $0.00 on my account according to MyChart at Singing River Ocean Springs Finance department. An investigation needs to be done of this Hospital to obtain how many people on the Gulf Coast are being over charged a copay for services that no copay is required. This is openly and blatant defrauding of the public, Medicare and Mississippi Medicaid patients."

"I was presented at Singing River Hospital-Gulfport location with an unexpected emergency. The wait wasn’t long and the ER staff, led by Dr. Justice, were pleasant and very professional. Dr. Justice patiently listened to my concerns and quickly went into action. This doctor and staff efficiently handled my situation with confidence and ease. Kudos to Dr. Justice, the nurses and support staff for being there for me. Because of their dedication, I was stabilized and released without being admitted! Kudos to all who attended to my care. "My doctor told me to go to the nearest ER so I headed for what used to be Garden Park. (Great previous experiences) Unfortunately a Very low staff ratio. Very nice ultrasound tech Anne. My nurse recommended a chiropractor instead. Left minus blood, exhausted and no better than when I arrived several hours later. The doctor who discharged me said they couldn't give me any results. I have to come back tomorrow and get them from medical records. I didn't even get copies if the papers I signed when I checked in though they said I would."

"Absolutely the worst medical facility that I ever seen and I have been in several states!! I am 66 years old and fell from ladder and landed on my back on concrete. They checked me into the system and called be back really quick to collect $300 before any treatment. Then they sent me back to sit in hard chair in waiting room full of Covid patients for over 2 hours. Then had x-rays and another 2.5 hour wait. On top of all these issues, the doctor never returned to tell me the results of my X-ray. They did give me a prescription for 600mg ibuprofen. Unless you are pretty sure that you are dying stay far away from this hospital!!!"

"I received five star treatment from everyone that dealt with me, the reception staff, the lovely lady who took my details, triage, the gentleman that x rayed my foot, the nursing assistant and the NP that dealt with me were all highly skilled, professional, helpful, courteous and caring. The treatment was excellent and the wait was negligible. I left feeling considerably better than when I arrived. Thank you everyone."
