"I'm connor and when I went there for summer camp it was a great experience yes we did eat snacks but you had to pay for them and we did it between breaks and gulf coast school of performing arts are not abusive they are kind and would never do such a thing thank you miss Elaine and Ms Macy for being so nice."
"If you want your child to be yelled at and verbally abused it’s the place to go. We visited to do the free trial classes. My son reluctantly went and tried the tumbling class that was held in a after thought room in the very back. I went between that class and my daughters class with the hip hop teacher. The tumbling coach, Stephon, kept berating and yelling at the kids. They where actually being pretty good for having spent all day at school and being quiet for their age group. Constantly telling them that they don’t listen, “you need to pay attention to the ones who are getting it right!” And telling several kids that they’re terrible at the tumbling. At one point he screamed so loud while I was in the room it made me even jump. Discipline and firm boundaries within what a child is capable is acceptable…..but an adult needs to do a better job with keeping their control of their own behavior. I proceeded to tell the owner and she brushed me off….and she knew exactly what I was talking about….clearly I’m not the only one who has brought this to her attention. The behavior was unacceptable no one should be treated the way this guy was treating the kids, no one. I wished I had recorded the behavior."
"Friday's Dance Party Let me start off by saying, I was truly psyched on this event. I thought it was cool, plus I was able to have quick Me time, for 2 1/2 hours, AWESOME right?, Well I'm a unique parent. I often wish for days or time to myself, but I fear leaving my sweet baby girl places unfamiliar. So when I seen the flyer, I reached out to another kids mom and setup a date for the girls to have fun, well I was given an tour of the place, and thought OOh they will have a blast. When picking up the kids, I was given a story by my daughter and her friend that an older kid was "PLAY" fighting with them. FLAGS AND MY HEART SUNK!! I turned my vehicle around and went inside looking for the kid after getting the story. Turns our the kid was a granddaughter of the owner or a helper in the school Still Unclear. But the older kids were in the bounce house with their phones and the littles were jumping, and eventually the littles started bothering the big kids( WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO BE IN THE SAME SPACE ) BUT the girl started slapping my daughter, I bought this to the GRANDMA ATTENTION, but overall. My baby and her friend won't be returning EVER. NO SUPERVISION, JUNK FOOD SNACKS, NO STRUCTURE AS ADVERTISED, AND POOR SAFETY TO ME. I swear to GOD, it was nothing but his grace and mercy that keep me from going completely OFF on both the kid and her grandma. But if your kid and able to stand up for themselves have at it, but my baby is sweet, happy go lucky, not used to having to fight off anyone, because her environment is not of the such, but BABYYYYY her mama WAS READY TO END LIVES!!!!! I WOULD STAY CLEAR IF YOU HAVE KIDS 5-8 yrs old. I really would."
"I give a 3 reluctantly and only because I like the fact there are so many classes your child can do every day without paying additional costs. However, them as an after care is terrible. Safety doesn't seem to be understood by them. No sign out sheet to verify who is picking up your child. The area they do homework is not quiet and very distracting. It's in the middle of the main walkway area so kids who don't have hw are running and yelling. Oh and that's also the same area they eat snacks. It's basically a common area. Speaking of snacks your kid eats junk everyday. Popcorn candy and half a popsicle everyday. No food like other after school progs. It's like being an after school prog is new for them."
"Best dance studio in biloxi. Ms Elaine and her staff are just amazing. Best part?? No dance mom drama!"
