Super 8 by Wyndham Gulfport Biloxi Airport

"This is the worst place in Gulfport! Not only is this hole so nasty the owner of this crack house matches it's energy and vibe. Booked it online as I always do with Wyndham group and there was absolutely nothing throughout the whole booking process where they mentioned that I'm required to pay cash. I arrived at the hotel to check in and I was told that either I pay cash for my stay including cash deposit or I can't check in. The owner was standing right next to the receptionist with his friend and just shouted "if he refused to pay cash he can go F himself" as I'm standing there. I asked him why he would say something like that to a customer and a member and he didn't care and continued to curse and use the worst words he could find in the dictionary of profanity. I told him that I will remain calm because it was clear to me that he is mentally unstable because no sane person would handle some inconvenience in such a manner. I will suggest that he rush to see a psychiatrist and a therapist ASAP because it gets out of his hand quickly."

"My reservation was originally made for 7 days, but I had to adjust it at check-in. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient and handled it without any issues. The day before I was to checkout, I extended my stay by a day which was also handled quickly and easily. I stayed a total of 4 nights, Wed - Sat. The toilet clogged Thu night and I informed the hotel on Friday asking them to fix it while we were out at the casinos for the night. However, it was not taken care of."

"The cleaning is very bad, the sheets and pillows smell very bad and the floor is not cleaned. The truth is, I woke up with a stomach ache due to the bad smell. I definitely do not recommend it to anyone, and they also ask for a deposit in case you leave the room badly and The room is given to you, all dirty and smelly."

"I was required to make last minute reservations to pay respect to my sister. The shower, hair dryer, and iron were broken. The floors were so nasty I had to buy towels to line the floor so my feet would not be black after showering. I was told that since I was staying a week I was not allowed housekeeping.....no toliet paper, clean towels, etc.....I tipped the "maids" for these items. There was a baggie of shrimp in the ice machine tray. There was roaches on the walls. The refrigerator was so dirty that we had to clean it to use it....but it didn't work so we had to use that shrimp ice to keep our things cool. When I placed the dirty towels out the door, I was told that I was making the place look trashy and they could fine me. The place was so musty and dirty that I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean my room before I could even lay in my bed."

"This place is clean and the front desk people were great. I needed a few things and even though the area where their breakfast takes place was closed, they went in and got what I needed to make me comfortable. They were really nice and accommodating. I honestly didn't think I would get this level of comfort and caring from a place like this but they were the best I've come across. And the price was super low."
