"I got married at this venue and, I’ve got to say, I could not have chosen a better location. The staff went out of their way to make my day incredible! Lisa the coordinator, made sure that every detail was not only taken care of, but went above and beyond to make our vision better than we ever imagined it could be! I highly recommend the turn down service for the wedding night because you will feel like royalty. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the mansion was in excellent condition. The history of this venue brings so much depth to your “big day.” The richness and character of this beautiful mansion are a wonderful foundation for the next steps in your new life as a married couple. The chapel is gorgeous, and you can almost feel the services and previous weddings that have been held there in the past. If nostalgia and beauty are what you are seeking, this is definitely where you want to be. Lisa will take care of you and your guests every need! Ian is an incredibly talented chef, and will make sure you have the freshest and most elegantly prepared food you have seen or tasted. Our guests raved about the buffet spread, and the breakfast was excellent. Our rehearsal dinner AND reception were perfectly executed, and the staff stayed late to make sure everyone was served, even if they arrived later than expected. They kept “the home fires burning!” If you are looking for a venue that is elegant and steeped in history and nostalgia, I highly recommend Oak Crest Mansion!"

"What an amazing place and staff! I could go on for days. Lisa, the manager and wedding coordinator pays incredible attention to detail, and is the sweetest, most reliable person ever. She and her staff are incredibly cordial and the most professional people you would ever want to handle your wedding! They absolutely made my bride's big day the most amazing fairytale ever! They catered to our every need as if we were royalty. The extra touches went above and beyond, and the entire place was spotless and clean. We booked every single room they had available for our guests, and if she would have had more we would have booked them too. The pure history of the mansion with all the fine details is just like stepping back in time. If you want an amazing experience I highly suggest visiting Lisa at Oak Crest! She will make your vision a reality. Executive chef Ian's food is to die for! Our guests raved over the quantity and quality of the foods prepared by the staff! From Red Fish, to grits, to pork tenderloin you can not go wrong with your menu choices! And for desert you HAVE to try Ian's bread pudding! "I was a member of a wedding party this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The food made by Chef Ian and his team was delicious the entire weekend. Lisa, the coordinator, did a wonderful job keeping the events running smoothly the entire weekend. All of the staff was very professional and accommodating. Overall, it was a lovely and memorable experience at an awesome and homey historic venue. I would happily do it again!"
