Malco Renaissance Cinema Grill

"February 10. I went to Malco’s Renaissance Theatre. I was there with my grandchildren to see Willie Wonka. All through the movie (literally) a group of teenagers/young adults kept talking at a regular level. The management did nothing to curtail this behavior. According to her/manager it is my responsibility to walk out of the movie, locate management and tell them there is an issue. This is a very poorly managed property. Malco Renaissance Cinema Grill doesn’t accept cash. You must pay for all services with a credit card. IF YOU DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD YOU CANNOT BUY A TICKET. Malco Renaissance discriminates against those who are less fortunate and can’t obtain a credit card or those who don’t want a credit card."

"I always go to this theater and it’s usually amazing service, but this time it was not the same experience. I got there to see a movie that was rated R, and they let me in perfectly fine. As the movie was about to start the rude manager walked in and asked to see my ID. I told him that the other workers said it was completely fine. He proceeded to kick me and my friends out very rudely despite the other employees saying I was allowed because they were of age. All of us called our parents (who said it was completely fine that we see the movie) and they told the manager to let us in. He said no, so we left and we will not be going anymore. I’m giving this theatre two stars because the other workers were great and very understanding, but the manager was completely rude and doesn’t know customer service."

"I didn’t actually go to see a movie but I did drop by to checkout theater. After visiting I will start because it’s in a great location and not very busy during weekdays. LaToya assisted me and works at bar. She was super friendly and very helpful. She informed me that you can order food from their menu and have it delivered to theater. You can also order alcohol and take to theater. This is very unique and great idea. They also have patio seating. They have it set up so you can purchase tickets on your own and in advance etc. You also choose seats when purchasing tickets. It’s located near the fountain which performs every 30 minutes from 5-10pm. A nice plane to sit and just enjoy the view. I highly recommended going to theater!"

"Enjoyed this movie theatre experience! Not crowded. Large selection of food, drink and snacks options. Multiple lines open with prompt service. Very friendly, professional employees. Lots of fantastic dining and shopping nearby while you wait for your movie. Reclining chairs. Small theaters that I actually prefer for a quieter more private experience. Highly recommend."

"If you ever want to see a movie even during the pandemic or just something pretty safe to do this one of the best places to go. Me and my family went and there was not a lot of people there at all . The reason I decided to go in the first place was two reasons. First off I pass this location a lot and there was never anybody there so it looked pretty safe and we were bored and needed to get out of the house. Once we got inside there was a skeleton crew of people dedicated to special tasks and all masked. Two people taking and selling tickets. Seemingly two to six people in concessions and it looked like two people on cleaning detail. We were a little early for the movie and as we were going in a cleaning person was coming out. They have a bar and also actual food they sell also such as burgers and fish and chips. Great place to plan, do some early scouting and if it's not busy catch a movie. In the front of the movie there is also a nice Vegas style fountain that puts on a light show and the water dances and shoots to the music."
