Greg Harkins Chairs is a unique furniture store located in Canton, Mississippi, United States. Specializing in handcrafted chairs and other furniture, Greg Harkins follows techniques passed down from the mid-1800s. With over 25 years of experience, including three years as an apprentice under Master Chairmaker Tom Bell, Greg is dedicated to preserving the art of chair making.

A graduate of Mississippi State University, Greg is a Fellow Member of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi and a member of the American Craft Council and the Louisiana Craft Council. He personally selects trees for lumber, mills the wood, hand-turns all parts, assembles the furniture, and finishes each piece. Each item is signed, dated, and guaranteed for life.

Using the shrink fitted technique, Greg creates durable and high-quality furniture that takes approximately 25 hours to make. The backs and bottoms of his chairs are woven by hand, adding a personal touch to each piece. Despite his many talents, Greg humbly admits that he doesn't do everything at once.
