"It's run down, rooms had mold in it, room key didn't work had get another room"
"The rooms are nasty and needs to be cleaned up the I found cockroaches in the refrigerator and the microwave made it to be sanitized or throw it away I would not have rented that room to a customer paying the amount of money I paid to stay in and unsanitary dirty sheets dirty floors bathroom nasty"
"Rooms are hit and miss as far as freshness goes. Our downstairs rear room was quite lovely. Ceramic flooring, clean, quiet. Ac/heat worked wonderfully. Upstairs front room was a different story. Dirty musty carpet, woke up to bedbugs biting me. I immediately went to the front office and reported the bedbugs and was given a new room with no bedbugs and was much cleaner. The previous room was immediately treated for bedbugs using adequate chemical/heated treatment along with surrounding rooms as a precaution and was not reopened until inspection deemed that the treatment was successful. They handled the situation promptly and professionally and reimbursed my extra laundry expenses due to the bedbug exposure. These things happen unfortunately, and with any lodging establishment they are ultimately inevitable. They knew what needed to be done and made no short work of getting it done."
"I know it's a cheap price. The only reason my husband and I stayed here was because they took pets. The other places in greenwood that took pets looked very very run down. This place looked like a decent place and not on a bad part of town. We were wrong. Very. Wrong. They didn't have any non smoking rooms. When I walked in, it smelled like someone just smoked 20 packs in there with no ventilation. We could deal with that. People were just standing outside their hotel rooms staring at us, from the moment we pulled in the parking lot. We decided we could ignore that. At 12 o'clock in the morning, my husband and I was woken up but blaring rap music right outside our door. When we checked in, they gave us a paper that specifically said no loud noises. We had to get up super early that next morning so sleep was crucial. It takes A LOT to wake me up out of a dead sleep. That's how loud the music was. I had my cell phone trying to call the hotel because there is absolutely zero lamps in the room to see to get to the room phone. The first time I called, it rang forever, and then a guy answered ,"regency" I started explaining who I was and my complaint and I heard the line hang up on me. Second time I called, it rang forever, then I heard the phone pick up, I could hear people talking in the background, so I was trying to get their attention saying hello over and over again, with no answer I was practically yelling hello into the phone, and still no response. So I finally make it to the room phone, which won't dial out. At all. So I call one more time on my cell, it rings again forever, I finally get an answer again. I explain who I am and my complaint. His response is I'll check it out. My husband stands outside the hotel door for at least 20 minutes. No one ever comes. The man is just sitting in the car, windows down, rap blaring, while he's talking on his cell to someone the entire time. After my husband walks back in, the guy blaring music finally drives off, it's obvious he wasn't staying at the hotel. The room is in SERIOUS need of updating, regular maintenance, and cleaning! The air conditioner was filthy and didn't cool the room hardly at all! I had a water bowl on the floor for my dog. This morning I picked it up and it had a dead roach in it. The microwave looked like it had been caught on fire before. The fridge was rusted and filthy. The door was even filthy with dried stuff on it! The couch and office chair looked and smelled like they literally got them from off the side of the road. They were stained and filthy. I will NEVER be back! I don't expect the Hampton Inn for this price, but I expect EVERY hotel to be clean and take care of the facility and their customers! When my husband went to check out this morning, at 6:15 am, he couldn't get anyone to come to the door which was locked. He had to slide the door key in their side window that they wanted used at night. The bathroom ceiling tiles looked sunken in like they were going to fall in from water. Please read reviews before staying somewhere. We were in such a hurry and had a limited number of places that we could stay that would take our dog that we didnt even think to check the reviews. We have learned our lessons! DO NOT STAY HERE! We will travel to neighboring towns if we have to next time. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!"
"Its a place to sleep. The price is nice. The rooms are decent. They do have cable though. Umm...they do have two sets of towel, face and body. Do not walk around with no shoes on. You can thank me later. Ive never used the let out couch and never will. Youll just have to find that part out for yourself. Overall it is ok. As in "Not Even Super 8 "ok"." Enjoy you're stay."
