"Have had to spend many overnights in Vicksburg in the past and have tried multiple hotel options on Clay St. block of hotels. I have always preferred Comfort Suites to be the best one. Just got done spending 2 weeks straight there for work and it only reinforced my opinion they’re actually the most comfortable one. They did have a problem with some smokers on my floor, but you can’t blame a hotel for a bad customer."

"The room was everything we needed except I would like to see a change to a large fridge especially for long stays. I will be staying here 8 nights in June with the Miss Mississippi Pageant. Also the water heater needs to be turned up because we had very little hot water. All the staff was the best especially Ms. Carol who did the breakfast bar (that stayed stocked and hot the entire breakfast window) and cleaning of our room. She is a 10 out of 10. When I arrived I was greeted by the desk clerk and she had my keys and receipt ready for me with no wait. I loved this. I ask for a ground floor room in my reservation and that is what I was given. Thanks so much! I'll see you all in June!"

"I am usually pleased with Choice Hotels for the price, but this time not so. No hot water and when I questioned about moving rooms I was told that when this happens it will be hotel-wide. If you know you have issues, why haven't you repaired the problem? So, no hot water, no shampoo, the couch was dirty, a sock was left under the bench in the room, an open container of soup in the fridge. My thought is that the bedding was changed but no real cleaning took place in the room. The afternoon desk clerk was a young girl that used her age as an excuse to only say there is nothing she could really do. Yet, the next morning the manager certainly did not approach us with any apologies. I will say the sweet girl that does breakfast does a great job and is very pleasant! I am sorry that is not enough for us to stay here again. We don't require much, but hot water, basic cleanliness and shampoo are must-haves."

"Rooms were very clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. WiFi and tv worked with no issues. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was well stocked and had a decent selection...the coffee was even good. We were in town to visit the National military park which was just a mile down the road, so location was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again if in the area of passing through"

"Check in was easy and young gal was very nice and professional. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was decent but wish there could have been more fresh things. The food could have been hotter too. Waffles were good and coffee too."
