Greenville - Nelco Cineplex

"Me and my granddaughter went to see The Color Purple. Midway through four young fellas came in and kept up all sorts of noise and talked on their cellphones while we watched the movie. As we were leaving out of our theater they could be seen going in and out of other theaters.When I said something to the teenage assistant manager he did NOTHING. I’ll be staying at home from now on watching movies on demand. Is there nothing left to do in Greenville that you can truly enjoy??? I believe it was a inside job."

"The projector was so dark that you couldn't even see the movie. For reference, I go to an AMC Theaters in another state 3 times per week due to having a membership, and in comparison, the projectors at this Greenville, MS movie theater were so dark you couldn't make anything out practically. There were darker scenes where you almost believed the projector turned off it was so dim! The project was also out of alignment to where the picture was off center. The audio quality was poor from the center channels (where dialogue comes from). Also, it was so poorly lit that it is a trip and fall hazard entering the auditorium. Without a flashlight, even a young teenager couldn't see and could trip and fall. What a shame to see a theater with such potential need so many improvements! Is a movie projector that works right with good sound too much to ask for? We would come here all the time if the picture and sound were good."

"There was absolutely nothing to purchase to drink. However, we were offered tap water for free. The young lady who waited on me and my family was really rude towards us. The young man working the register and the man collecting the tickets was friendly, though."

"Tickets were bought online. There was no one at the ticket booth so we had to pick up our tickets at the concession stand. Both lines were long and slow. Only two employees were working the concessions. One was working concessions AND scanning barcodes for people who purchased tickets in advance. The kiosk inside the theater wasn’t working so tickets couldn’t be printed from it. The only choice was to stand in the long line. We finally got our tickets printed. I attempted to order nachos but was told they didn’t have any. Could only order popcorn! No drinks were available, only water! By the time we got into the theater our movie had already started (we got there at 12:30 and the movie started at 12:45). Last time we went there to see a movie they had drinks but no ice. Would give zero stars if I could do so. Management needs to do better."

"My husband and I went to see Equalizer 3 and the customer service was horrible. We asked for fresh popcorn twice only to get cold and salty popcorn both times. The women bathroom is DISGUSTING and behind the concession counter it was filthy. They don’t deserve not one star."
