About the New Season Treatment Center – Biloxi
New Season Treatment Center in Biloxi, Mississippi offers a comprehensive approach to treating opioid dependence through their Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. Located at 1989 Pass Road, this health institution provides individuals with the opportunity to recover from addiction without having to disrupt their work, family, or social obligations. The center also offers counseling services to help patients understand the nature of addiction and develop resilient plans for long-lasting success.
One of the key medications used in the MAT program is methadone, which has been FDA-approved and highly studied for its effectiveness in treating opioid addiction. Methadone acts as a stabilizer in the body, helping patients function without impairment while reducing withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Additionally, buprenorphine and Suboxone are also used in the treatment plan to suppress withdrawal symptoms and lower the potential for misuse.
Counseling plays a crucial role in achieving lasting success in recovery. Patients at New Season Treatment Center receive individual, group, and family counseling to better cope with stress, setbacks, and triggers associated with addiction. By dedicating time to counseling in addition to MAT, patients can improve all areas of their lives and establish resilient plans for a healthier future.

Reviews of New Season Treatment Center – Biloxi
"I’m new to New Seasons Biloxi having transferred from Fort Lauderdale. This clinic does provide a safe and very important path for recovery. It all takes time and there are a lot of state laws they have to abide by. From what I’ve experienced the counselors and nurses here truly do care!"
"During my recent visit to the clinic, I encountered a series of challenges that prompted me to reflect on the overall quality of service and professionalism within the facility. Upon entering, I exhibited symptoms that raised concerns, leading to an initial assessment by a nurse. However, this assessment quickly resulted in a presumption of intoxication, prompting my referral to a nurse practitioner for further evaluation. Surprisingly, the nurse practitioner’s assessment contradicted the initial diagnosis, resulting in my clearance. While this addressed my immediate concern, it inadvertently created tension among staff members, as it appeared I had circumvented the judgment of the initial nurse. This discrepancy highlighted a lack of consistency in the clinic’s approach to patient care. What stood out was the evident lack of empathy displayed by some staff members, particularly concerning my denial of necessary rest despite two individuals vouching for my condition. This inconsistency raises questions about the overall standards upheld by different staff members. It is imperative that such issues are addressed promptly to ensure a more uniform and patient-focused experience for all seeking medical assistance. Adding to the complexity, my inherently quiet nature was evident throughout the process. Despite facing conflicting assessments, I chose not to engage in arguments or disputes, emphasizing the need for a calm and cooperative atmosphere. This preference for a peaceful demeanor underscores the significance of clear communication and consistent standards within the clinic. In light of these observations, I urge the clinic to reflect on these concerns and consider refining internal protocols. Establishing clear communication channels and fostering an atmosphere that prioritizes patient well-being and cooperation would contribute to a more equitable and supportive healthcare environment. I hope that this feedback prompts positive changes that benefit both patients and staff."
"This place saved my life. It truly did. There are some counselors that genuinely care and then you have some that are there for a paycheck. But I find that usually anyone is willing to lend an ear to someone in need. My issue is that I was approved a reimbursement in mid-to-late July 2023. I waited. I was told they needed to make sure claims were filed (even after the approval? Hmm ok) so I finally got tired of being given the run around from the clinic employee, so I called the main office in Florida. Found out my check had been “in transit” since September 15!! In transit for two months?!!! So they put a stop check on it and had it sent to my house per my request. Tell me why the day after I did that, I was told from an employee at the clinic that a PATIENT walked in with my check. It was opened. The label was all faded but I can still make out the dates. I was told they were going to watch the cameras and they’d tell me the next day. I’m not about to do anything stupid but I would like to know whom had my money and I believe anyone would want to know that. Especially considering I was told I would be informed. So if you’re genuinely sick and tired of being sick and tired, this is a great place to go to get help. But you got to work for it. Nothing ever worth fighting for is easy. Also, if you ever find yourself in a position that you’re owed money from NSTC I suggest you contact the head office. I had every answer to the questions I’d been asking the clinic employees within hours; and I also had my check within 48 hours. No thanks to the employees and my local clinic."
"This treatment center is finally under a new director. I can't applaud loud enough. The patients are finally the focal point of treatment. The wait time is next to nothing. There has to be a leader that truly understands the disease and wants to help patients heal, and we have that now. I recommend New Season 100%."
"I would give 5 stars because I never had a problem there besides the fact they were taking my cash when my insurance was paying didn't tell me and still, today will not pay me back. I completed it successfully. Dean was the best person and truly cared for me however it's been a very long time since I have been I been there and still not one penny of my money have they given back to me. They tell us to live right and they don't show us how to do it. Keeping money that isn't theirs to keep."
