"Since this is Mardi Gras weekend, I thought that I would round up my research on "fried chicken". Now Church's and Popeye's are ok but, the chicken at this little convenience store has all of them beat. Every day, they consistently crank out the very best "fried chicken" I have ever had. I have gone there on different days to check their consistency and they score high every time. So if you are in the market for some "great" fried chicken, this is the place to visit. The first batch of chicken for the day is displayed on the checkout counter every day at 10:00 am and ready to eat, be aware that their chicken is so tender and juicy that you'll want to eat more than one piece, so go ahead. The second batch of chicken for the day is displayed on the checkout between 2 to 4:00 pm and once again, ready to eat. If this was not the best "fried chicken" I would not be writing about it. se bon"

"Slow pumps and they charge you more $$. I filled up 5, 5 gallon gas cans and the pump charged me for 28.9 gallons."

"GREAT PLACE TO GET GAS AND SOME SNACKS AND DRINKS , THEY ARE NOT BUT 1 PENNY HIGHER THAN RACE TRAC , THOUGH THEY DO NEED TO KEEP THEIR WINDOW CLEANING BUCKETS FULL OF SOAPY WATER , OTHER THAN THAT , EVERYTHING IS OK , THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY ."

"The girl that was working inside the night I went in told me the chicken was good so got some. What she didn’t tell me is that stuff slapped me right in the mouth I’m talking finger lickin good 10/10 willl visit again. Great customer service great food ."

"I don't typically go to Texaco because they are HIGH. We were in the area one day and lower on gas so did a quick stop and had to go in to pay. I had to wait in a long line just to get a receipt. They do fried chicken there but staff said Pipeyes is much better."
