"BE CAREFUL...DO NOT LET THE REMODELED FRONT EXTERIOR AND LOBBY FOOL YOU. GROSS.....From the green green hot tub, NASTY carpet, rusted lamps & picture frames, open ceiling above the ice machine(rats come in from the ceilings). This place was so bad, in all aspects except the personnel, they were very nice, given what they were working with. Upon arrival we were given a room that was occupied, we could have been shot/harmed, walking into someone's room. The next room was beyond freezing and it took over an hour to reach a livable, NOT WARM, temperature. Also, any metal in the room, picture frames, lamps, and mirrors, had a lot of rust, I mean it had to of taken years to accumulate this amount of rust. The shower head was broken...I could go on..."

"Hot tub was disgusting, couldn’t get in it. As far as toiletries the only had bar soap and on shampoo. Linens were clean, staff was fine. They were supposed to have breakfast but said they were remodeling so didn’t have it. The view is great but definitely should not be included in Bluegreen Ascension Collection."

"They double charge us for the room. Had roach's in the room on the bed. Called the front desk and received no help. Didn't have a key to the room the whole weekend and (NO ROOM SERVICE). Also no toilet paper, no bath towels. Don't stay here. It took 7 days of fighting over the phone to get our money back. (Save you self), will never never go back. Made our vacation a nightmare. Sad Sad visit, but the city had great places to eat and sight seeing."

"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I came home for family business. The best thing was the location. The weather had the key card machine and television down. I understood that. The rooms are extremely dated. I booked through a third party and was also charged again. Receipts were not emailed. The hotel is “currently” undergoing much needed renovations which I didn’t have the pleasure of enjoying."

"Do not stay here! Positives: beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious, the view from room #2 was beautiful (read description for info), friendly staff, lobby was clean and beautiful. Negatives: rooms are VERY outdated, stains everywhere from the carpet to the walls, didn't seem very clean, 2-3 broken lights, shower head was broken and when I turned on the water, water went everywhere, found a used, dirty wash cloth on top of our shower curtain/rod, and there was either dirt or human residue in the toilet, and the lock on the door was broken and did not work. I booked a 2 queen accessible room for my mother and I. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very nice and friendly staff member. We were told that the room was "broken" and has been having "issues recently" so we had to move to a regular 2 queen room. Luckily my mom had someone to help her in and out of the tub/shower because she would have had to go somewhere else. The room we got was disgusting. The light over the door was not working but what made me turn around and ask for a different room was the strong smell of MOLD. It smelt like it was coming from the AC unit in the room. We went back to the front desk and asked for a different room. Room number 2 was better but far from perfect. But what was really concerning was that the elevator inspection paper was expired! This place has great potential but until they upgrade and CLEAN the place, I won't be going back. Total waste of money."
