"Clean cozy beds! Good breakfast with grits, eggs, waffle bar, cereal, bakery goods, biscuit/gravy, juices, apples, coffees. Room was pretty clean other than there was hair in the bathroom. Front desk was super nice."

"During my stay near Clinton, MS, I opted for the Hampton Inn due to its convenient location, and I was pleasantly greeted by a smiling and genuinely friendly staff upon entry. Despite light construction in the entrance, the area remained clean and hazard-free. A warm gesture awaited me, acknowledging my loyalty to Hilton with a bottle of water and snacks – a nice touch. Notably, some doors seemed slightly off in their frames, including mine, but I found them secure, and the issue seemed consistent across a few rooms. The room, while generally clean, had minor debris on the floor, promptly addressed by housekeeping upon notification. Unfortunately, the bathroom lacked body wash throughout my stay, but my personal toiletries came in handy. The compact yet well-equipped gym offered essential workout facilities. The inviting lounge area contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. Surprisingly, breakfast surpassed expectations, featuring perfectly cooked grits and an array of side options. However, a suggestion would be to introduce non-pork meat choices, considering the plentiful pork options during my stay. Parking, though ample during the day, could be challenging at night, but well-lit overflow areas ensured safety. The hotel's proximity to gas stations, restaurants, and its easy access from the interstate adds to its appeal. Despite minor hiccups, I recommend the Hampton Inn, thanks to its amiable staff and their proactive approach to resolving concerns."

"I recently stayed at this property for the first, and hopefully last time. When i got to my room, the deadbolt on the door did not latch. The wifi did not work, even after logging into the browser. Neither of those issues were ever fixed on my 12 night stay. My room was not cleaned until day 8, after asking the front desk manager to make sure it got cleaned, calling Hilton support, and going BACK to the front desk the following day. There is absolutely no reason why a room should not be cleaned, towels, toiletries, and bedding not be changed in over a week. That is ridiculous. I had to BEG for my room to be cleaned. It makes me wonder if the rooms are cleaned in between guests. This experience was unacceptable, and i will make sure not to book a Hilton property on my next stay in Clinton. I’d rather sleep in my car."

"For starters the AC was loud and barely worked. It cut off every 3 hours so you would wake up all night to turn it back on. There was an overhead fan that didn’t work. Cleanliness, the pull out couch mattress was COVERED in stains. There was a fake nail on the floor next to the bed. There was an open razor blade in the hallway. We alerted the staff and they didn’t seem bothered. Housekeeping opened the door two hours after we checked in. A drunk man knocked on our door at 3am for 2-3 minutes before wandering away. All of the carpets in the halls and room were disgusting. A woman at the front desk was screaming at some of the workers one of the times we left the hotel. I’m honestly not sure how this place had such good reviews."
