"Mom and pop family kind of store"
"This place is filthy. Filth and grime are caked on the floors! Tables look like they have never been cleaned! Large holes in the floor creating bacteria! Don't eat here! They don't know what a mop is! This place is just pure nasty!!! The previous owners kept it clean, but not these people! Coffee pot is nasty and breeding germs! Yuck, yuck, yuck!"
"I have been doing business at this establishment for several years, I have always treated the owners and their employees with respect and shown courtesy to each and every one regardless if they're customer, employees or owners, I am quick to share a smile, a kind word and try to be first to engage in friendly conversation. Approximately a month ago a gentleman whom I had recently met and lives just a short distance from my house needed gasoline for his car and I needed to go withdraw some money from the atm located inside the store there. I went inside and withdrew $120 fr the ATM. Then to the check out to pay for the $7.00 of gasoline the gentleman was pumping to his car, stopping to get 2 soft drinks from the cooler, I approached the counter and told the cashier I was paying for $7.00 in gasoline and the 2 soft drinks sitting on the counter and still holding the cash from the ATM in my hand $120, all were $20 Bill's, no $1 dollar bills, no $5 dollar bills, no $10 dollar bills. All 6 bills were in $20 denomination's. Take note! The gasoline pumps Do Not have preset controls to prevent overage by automatic shutoff. The cashier lady tallied the gasoline and 2 soft drinks while standing at the cash register and watching anxiously the gentleman outside at the gasoline pumps as I handed her 1 $20 bill. Suddenly she blurted out to me " You better go out there and stop him, you only paid for $7.00 worth of gasoline " Btw. I seldom ever buy gasoline there. So to ease her mind I turned and headed outside to the gentleman I'm riding with that he has to stop it himself. He on the other hand, And, unlike myself, buys gasoline there many times a week, But, as I step just outside the door of the store he has discovered there is No enumeration visible on the face of the gasoline pump and has no idea the amount of gasoline he has put in his car and still pumping, Now the cashier lady has come outside and yelling right behind me at the gentleman " Your Gonna Have To Look At The Other Side Of The Pump While You Pump It " Now we have widespread panic on the part of the cashier and total aggravation on the part of the gentleman I'm riding with. Me? Well..I'm just standing there looking in amazement at the absurdity of the physical possibilities the gentleman had of standing 3 feet on the opposite side of fuel pump and holding onto the nozzle sticking in the gas hole of his car, Apparently the confusion was overwhelming, cashier back inside.her husband sitting in the chair behind her, she had gave me 13 cents in coins as the ruckus broke out, I asked her kindly for the rest of my change and she looked at me as if I was attempting to steal something from her and told me that she gave me my change alerts, I respectfully replied that no ma'am she didn't give me All of my change only the coins, I checked my pockets, I looked around the floor and base of the counter, outside in front of the store but there was no $10 bill and $1 dollar bill Anywhere, I had in my possession 5 $20 dollar bills and the few coins, I reiterated this to her that the cash I had came from the ATM and I had my receipt, she said she didn't care what I had and she had no idea what I did with the bills she gave me as change. Well..I told her I don't lie and steal because I don't have to, don't want to, I'll have to answer for that, besides, I'm blessed even when I'm broke and I refuse to cheat, lie and steal to get by, I politely told her it was ok and I thanked her and left. Would I recommend this store? Sure, will I shop here again? Absolutely. Why did I write this review? I hope and pray it causes a little more thoughtfulness and benefit of doubt for the next customer, being treated like a liar, cheater and a thief when you're actually an honest, God fearing person does not feel good at all, not to mention the money you no longer have, all because of confusion at the gasoline pump and an untrustworthy customer relationship"
