"Not much better than the restaurant next door. Over priced. Often the produce in the refrigerated section is soft and molding. The “fresh” meats are no longer red and they’re discolored. Employees have a bit better attitude than that of the restaurant employees, however, they’re the only store within 17-25 miles of any other. They have fresh (sometimes) hot boudin (sometimes) everyday but today it may be so peppered you can’t taste anything but fire and tomorrow it may taste like rice and water with no seasonings or taste like a box of salt."

"Great hole in the wall kind of place. We stopped for food and and a restroom break and we were pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms are roomy and clean. We ordered cheese pizza slices, 2 cheese burgers and a chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes for our family. Service was friendly and fast. Everyone was happy and our food was tasty and fulfilling. What a a great find on our drive through to Texas. You must stop in and check it out yourself!"
