"In the Bay store, I tried to get a salesman's attention a couple of times but he wouldn't acknowledge. Two guys walk up, ask for prices on a boatload of materials and he bows down to them! After a few minutes of these guys changing amounts and types of materials, I let the salesman know how I felt about his antics. Too bad I can't give 0 stars."
"We will never deal with this company again! They need to clean house and fire everyone and start anew!! We first contacted Bailey Lumber for a warranty issue on a window on April 20, 2021. It took 3 months for the salesman to come out and measure the window for the glass and then it took another 3 months of following up and being told that the glass was not ordered and then ordered and they were awaiting delivery. There was never any communication on their end. Today the independent glass company that was to install it came out and the glass was too small for the window!! Instead of dealing with this incompetent company ever again, we have decided to order and pay for the glass ourselves and have the glass company install it for us. The cost of this glass is $314.85, which is not a lot of money but well worth paying for in the end. My husband is in sales and if he ever did this to any of his customers, he would not have a job!"
"Worst company I have ever dealt with. Delivers the wrong stuff and then won't take it back. Asked for my delivery to be made on Friday, and they deliver 5 days early and leave the stuff on my front lawn while I am out of town, having surgery. Everyone in my family that has used this company has had nothing but problems. And when they do mess up, they don't take the stuff back and tell you that you just have to eat the cost of the product that they ordered the wrong size of. Save your money, go to any other company for business."
"I was working with a guy named Dusty to get a door and when I ordered the door he never owned up to making a mistake with measuring the door. I went back and forth with him for months because I was away on business. He kept lying often and changing his story about how the door will be fixed. I finally got back and went to the manager and he was amazing. The manager was very helpful with correcting the mistake and resolving the issues. Everyone is super nice and I finally got my door ordered. When the door was delivered the MEASUREMENTS WERE FINALLY CORRECT BUT THE WRONG STYLE WAS ORDERED. I just gave up all together on them because for what I paid for the door it was not worth getting into another altercation about ordering the correct door. Nice people, but doesn’t seem to be organized and they lack attention to detail. I would recommend somewhere else."
"I decided to work with Bailey’s in Bay St. Louis to supply the material for building my house. I chose Bailey’s because my parents and several co-workers recommended Bailey’s for their good customer service and knowledgeable staff. However, I now regret my decision due to several challenges. 1. Severely late deliveries. While framing the house, I could order material 3-4 days in advance and some of the scheduled deliveries would arrive 1-2 days late. It became so customary that I had to take off work on 3 occasions to haul material with my own trailer so that my framer could stay busy. 2. Complaining staff. On one of the instances that I had to haul my own material, the yard hand was constantly complaining about how orders as large as mine should be delivered. I was helping him hand load the material, but he was very unhappy about having to hand load the material at 7am. It made the already frustrating situation even worse. 3. Incompetent staff. While framing the house, my salesperson recommended that I hold all of my returns until the framing was complete. He also said that any poor quality boards could be returned. Following his recommendation, we hand organized and stacked all the leftover/damaged material and requested a pick up after framing was complete. Two men came out to pick up the material during the first week of April, but I did not see a credit to my card for three weeks. Upon reaching out to my sales representative, I was assured to receive the credit back to my credit card. After 3-4 more weeks, I asked for another update, and again, the representative said that he thought it had already been processed and that he would make sure it was resolved. After another 3-4 weeks, we requested that the credit be put toward our drywall purchase because we still had not received it. Then, our sales rep told us that we would not receive a credit because they could not resell the material due to quality. When we asked where our material was, he said “I don’t know, but I think it is in the yard.” Either this salesperson is incompetent or he is purposely misleading his clients in a malicious bait-and-switch operation. After spending over $50k in material, I was shocked that Baileys would not honor a return that was only a small fraction of my total spend. At this point I still have not received my credit (nor has my material been returned), and I will not give Baileys any more of my business until this issue is resolved. Your sales rep lost the $7k I spent on drywall and another $30k I still have to spend on the interiorior finishing."
