"This is the worst experience of my life. I went to this store on Monday 12-23-19 around 4:30 p.m. to look around, purse on my shoulder the whole time. I did not use a buggy or buy anything. I was leaving the store and the door alarm went off. The cashier yells at me, "Ma'am" and I state with my hands up ," I do not have anything". I go to the desk where she is checking out another person. She states policy is that, "I have to go through your purse." Since I had no choice, she went through all my stuff, which is personal and an invasion of my privacy, proving to her I do not have anything that belongs to the store. I was treated like a criminal and will never shop at family dollar again if this is their policy."
