"I don’t go to this bowling alley often and this might be the last time until some things change about it. I get to the front counter at around 4:30pm and they say it’s going to be like a 3 hour wait well I told them to go ahead and put us on the list and we left the building to go get a bite to eat to pass the time and when we get back we are greeted at the door saying we got to pay $5 a person to enter and I told them we were already here we were on the waiting list and they said we still had to pay because it was after 6pm and we left the premises!! Then we wanted to play by the game and the guy told us that we can only do it by the hour because they change it at certain times of the day then while we were paying for the game he was expecting a tip from me and I was like for what for getting my shoes for the game and then I said those ladies at the front door have your tip and I said it jokingly because I was assuming he was joking but afterwards I was heading to the bar because now I needed a beer and again was stopped to put on a wristband and just think that’s unnecessary I’m not going to a club and if they need to see my ID the bartender can ask for it but that more than likely would take awhile because when I did get to the bar I waited 15 minutes just to be greeted at the bar and they were not slow nor too busy I just think needed a better rhythm to work together and I didn’t recognize the bartenders so maybe they were new I don’t know but other than those 3 thinned the bowling itself was still fun!"

"This place was hoppin'! plenty of great features and fun things to do for the younger kids. Arcade, pool table, basketball hoops game, snack bar, and an open bar for the adults. Cons about this place is the $5 door fee per person after 6p.m. the minimal amount of parking spaces, and the (2 &1/2) hour wait for open bowling. Suggestions on this establishment...invest in purchasing more available space for parking and adding more lanes to accommodate your customer's instead of them turning away and leaving to find something else to do or venturing to another open bowling alley. With as much business as this establishment does, you could use the widening out."

"My friends and I used to spend every Friday and Saturday night at Fanin lanes without fail. I know people get busy and we slowed down coming in as much as we used to, but I can not imagine all the things that had to go wrong for this place to turn in to what it has become. The bar used to stay packed because there was a friendly knowledgeable staff and people didn't mind waiting. the staff working last night 2/9 was incompetent and rude. The bartenders working last night do t even have general knowledge of what bourbon is they seem to think all dark liquor is bourbon. When I voiced my opinion to a man that said he was the general manager, that was sitting at the bar with friends stuffing his face and drinking, I was told I don't know what I'm talking about. I have managed restaurants and bars around Jackson and the surrounding metro area and never had complaints, we kept good staff and good customers and we're always able to to make it a better experience for our patrons. The incompetence and rudeness of the staff and customers makes it easy to see the reason for the drastic decline in customer. When a bar goes from standing room only (every Friday and Saturday night) to barely enough people to cover the barstools it shows that management is the main problem. The ineptness of this management and staff makes me think this place won't be around for much longer which is sad considering how great this place used to be. Until the last year we never had a complaint about anything there but over the last year we have been in there several times and each time has been a bad experience. We continue to hope it gets better but after last night it doesn't matter if it does get better because as long as it continues to be run by the current management me nor my dozen or so friends will ever spend another dime there. There is only so many times I can tolerate rudeness and incompetence before it's not worth holding out hope for improvement. I do not leave many bad reviews after all the time I spent in this industry but it really seems that who is in charge doesn't care how the business is actually running, this place should be sold and o someone that is willing to make it better or at least staff it with competent employees and hold the staff to a higher standard. For years I would've heartbroken if this place closed but at this point if the decline continues the area will be better off if it closes its doors and is replaced with a business that will take care of and actually understand their customer as base as a whole."

"Adding 20 %for tips on everything drinks and food . Tips are to insure proper services. And service is horrible even my pizza was cold,they were supposed to beep me but Never did. You have to go get own Drinks ,no waitress . Make a lot more money if they hired waitress. To give good service then you can add 20% . Drinks to expensive and charging 5.00to get in like there is band or something."

"So much fun! A super nice bowling alley with attentive staff. Our balls and pins got stuck, and the staff fixed it immediately. They also have a small little cafe area for snacks and drinks. My only complaint is that they allowed us to purchase a more expensive plan with the exact same benefits and didn't inform us there was a cheaper option. We were terrible but still had tons of fun nevertheless."
