"Manager, Margaret, has a very unprofessional way of handling situations and responsibilities. I applied for there a week or so ago. I initially applied for the assistant manager job, after going to the location to speak to her about my application, she informed me to go and do the representative application, so she could teach me how Family Dollar works. Today I was informed by an ear in the store, that she was speaking upon me. She said that I was annoying her about the job and that she wasn’t going to hire me. I’ve only contacted her twice about my application. The second time I stood there for 30 mins waiting on her to even speak with me, while she was on the phone with her friend in the backroom on the left side of the store. An employee, Shonta, informed her that I was there. She responded “well he is gonna have to wait, I’m on the phone”. I simply continued waiting, when she came out of the back of the store, she didn’t acknowledge my presence. She walked to her computer and hung up on her friend to get on the phone with Corporate or the DM. I continued waiting. After she was done with that, she said “I didn’t contact you Leon”, I replied “my name isn’t Leon”, she continued to say “well I gave you a name uh Earl” I replied “well at least you remembered my name lol”. I would really like to speak with the Store Owner and District Manager about this as soon as possible, I will also be calling corporate after this is posted."
