"Kosmo’s salon was recommended to me 25 years ago when I moved here, been with them ever since. Lisa has been my stylist for years. She has great listening ability regarding your requests while also providing great tips and honest insight. Always has a great attitude and a smile to share. They do well to accommodate all ages. The salon is the perfect size , not too big and overwhelming, keeps it personal. Highly recommend this salon and their stylists."
"I had been wanting to get my hair cut for a few months but kept putting it off. Then I decided to go to Kosmos. Let me start by saying that the salon was very clean and super cute, and everyone there was so nice! I wanted a dramatic cut and Jessica was amazing! She gave me the hair cut that I wanted, and she helped me modify it so that it fit my style better. I absolutely recommend Kosmos to anyone who is looking for a hair stylist!"
"Lisa was wonderful!! Colored and cut exactly what I asked for. Her rinsing and washing my hair was like a head massage! Awesome! Professional and so nice to converse with. Everything was great to keep in guidelines of Covid protection. Highly recommend!"
"BEST FAMILY RUN LOCAL BUSINESS IN MADISON COUNTY. Let me walk you through- From front desk business manager Jackie Jenkins (who holds at least a double major if not triple from her alma mater) to receptionist/stylist Mesha relocated from Hattiesburg who rocks the best natural cropped hair ever. Mesha has an incredible amount of range, but excels in short hair styles. Then we have owner since 1985 Vickie. Though short in stature she is constantly striving to do the best techniques and stops short of NOTHING to treat her clients as friends she loves to see. Rachel is our resident redheaded Italian with a wild mane of curly hair. She's your go to if you wanna get out of your comfort zone. She can do short shaves to amazing wild colors. But girl, she will slay on that pretty curl too. Jessica is Vickie and Jackie's sister (Told you-family business). She knows everything from special occasions, any kind of dye job you'd want, to dealing with curls. From funky-to-classy she's gotcha. And she is gonna tell you some wield stories. And southern belle Lisa- if you want BLONDE she can do it. She was born to highlight everyone on God's earth. She also is wonderful with perms and style and sets. This is your new family."
"I was excited to get a manicure from Kosmos because of all the great reviews that I read. I scheduled two back-to-back appointments for my friend and me. I told the lady on the phone that I would like the first appointment to be for 1:30PM. She got the time wrong twice as 1PM, and I corrected her twice and told her 1:30PM. Needless to say, I thought all was well with my appointment time because SURELY she listened to me the second time I corrected her. My friend and I arrived at Kosmos a little before 1:30PM for our manicures and were PROMPTLY turned away because we were "late". I explained to the lady at the desk that it must have been put in the computer wrong and also explained the mix-up that happened on the phone. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry for the mix-up" or anything. Instead, the icy front-desk lady told me that I was wrong and that they were at no fault. What happened to the customer being right? What happened to apologizing for mix-ups with scheduling? An apology (even without a manicure) would have gone a long way for me, and I would have likely given Kosmos another try. However, I guess my money is not worth as much as other people's money to Kosmos. This all to say, I will not be going back. Hospitality means a lot to me -- hopefully it will begin to mean more to Kosmos."
