"Sarah Dieban, I’m sorry you had a bad experience at Luxe Salon. I have been a client there a long time. I also happened to be in the Salon at the same time you were today. I think one of the points of confusion for the staff was, in fact, that the person you had an appointment with left. However, it seems, at least from her perspective, you failed to confirm your appointment and you were late. That may not make it better, but it was an honest mistake. The person that realized you hadn’t been helped was trying to see if she could help you. I don’t know what services you asked for, but I do know she told you she didn’t have time to do what you were asking for because she had a client waiting. I was her client waiting, and my service took two hours. I remember looking when you sat down and took of your scarf because I thought, “wow, her hair is gorgeous!” The comment about the amount of hair has to do with determining time it takes for color/highlights. She’s told me I have a lot of hair several times, but it’s in the context of like, “Hey, do you also have time to do a Brazilian on me today?” “I don’t know, you have a lot of hair, and I only have 30 minutes to my next appointment” or something like that. I know you aren’t likely to go back to Luxe, but maybe my response will ease your mind a little. I truly do not believe there was any racist intent. It was an unfortunate chain of events. I’m sorry you were hurt by them though."

"Tracy Holliday is arguably the best stylist and colorist in the State! Third visit today and every time my hair looks better and better. The cut is so well done that it grows out perfectly and the color does not damage my hair or change over time. She also makes the visit fun!"
