"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I met Amy and she gave me her card because I said I was shopping around for homeowners insurance. I sent her an email with all of my info. She was very quick to respond and asked me for some additional information so she could get my quote, which I provided. She said give her till the end of the week to get a quote. End of the week came, nothing. I waited until the middle of the following week and emailed her asking if she had my quote available. Again, no response. I called the office at the end of the second week and spoke to a young woman who said they were short handed. I asked if she could get with Amy and call me back to see if there was any progress on my quote. She said she would call me back that day with an answer, which she did not. I then emailed Amy again the middle of the following week and asked her to please let me know what was going on with my quote and to just let me know if they were too busy or needed more time. Again there was no response. I would have ratherd her just say they were too busy to give me a quote than just ignore me. I guess they have enough business that they don't need new customers. If you are looking for homeowners insurance, look elsewhere!!"

"Bishop Insurance Brokers, not to be confused with the Bishop Insurance Agency, is more interested in their commissions than they are in their clients. In nine years I only requested once for them to shop my Homeowners Policy for a better rate. They never did it. Finally, I found another Agency that worked hard to earn my business, so I chose to replace my policy with Bishop. Suddenly they stopped answering my phone calls, and refused to respond to my emails. Eventually I found their office, which had moved without notice, and was assured that my policy had been cancelled a month earlier, and I should be expecting a return of my unused premiums ($2,300). After waiting another week I finally contacted the insurance carrier directly, and was told that my agent never requested a cancellation. The agencies goal was to not lose commissions due to my cancellation, so the deceived me, and held onto my policy as long as they thought they could. What a shameful lack of professionalism and integrity. I will never recommend Bishop Insurance Brokers to anyone who is looking for a reputable agent to manage their insurance matters. My only recommendation would be for the Insurance Commissioner to revoke their license to sell insurance."

"My experience last year, 2022 - 2023, was great. However, my experience this year, 2023 - 2024, was terrible. Without notice, my insurance increased by $800. I never received a call, text, or email from Bishop Insurance Brokers. I left several messages for Heather or anyone who would return my call and never received a return message. Unfortunately, I haven't even received the Insurance Declaration Page yet, and it's been over 2 months. Finally I think they moved to a new location but I received no communication saying so...I found out by driving by their location."

"Save your money, time and the hassle call someone else. The little bit of customer service this broker is capable of stops once they have your money. You will never receive a call back. It took 4 months to refund my premium. At a sizeable loss because I cancelled my homeowner policy prior to 90 days, and minus taxes and fees. That was after repeated phone calls."

"Went in asked for a quote and they said they'd call me...never did. I called the 2 weeks later to get the quote and was told they would call me back and never did. I have good credit, a clean driving record, and a new car...cannot understand why they didn't want my business. I ended up going with Bridgeway insurance in Waveland. Much nicer people."
