"I asked to have a policy written up and sent to me. I wanted to review it before accepting it. The policy was changed and my coverage (by no fault of Goosehead) was adjusted to not include flood. I never signed the policy and they enacted it ANYWAY. I worked quickly to get it cancelled, but by then it was too late. My mortgage had paid them and not the correct policy. So now, my better policy renewal for cancelled, my policy with goosehead is cancelled and while Paul Caro seems like a great dude, every step of the way "Goosehead related people seemed to act in a way that was very questionable with both starting my policy without any signatures as well as REFUSING TO CANCEL in a timely manner resulting in the unfortunate cancelling of my other policy which is easily costing me any of the money I would have saved by swapping my first policy. Insurance is bad business and even a good agent can't stop a bad brand from doing questionable things. $1000 mistakes are not just "mistakes". I've never caused someone to lose $1000 for anything and I sure hope I never do."
