"I have shopped here at this store since they opened and have always liked dollar general until today. I purchased a loaf of bunny bread and when I got home I noticed fruit flies inside the bag, when I went back to the store the gentleman claimed he was "the manager" there was no one above him and that he couldn't issue a refund, that's fine, I would like the 2.65 store credit towards a different brand, said he couldn't do that. Magically he then gets the store manager on the phone - wait store manager he said he was the manager - the person on the phone said I could get a different brand and pay difference, once he hung up the gentleman in the store would not allow me to do so - very disappointing. - looking at the reviews in the past month I'm not the only who has had issues at this store. what about the employees who stand outside and smoke while waiting for them to check you out -"

"Employee, O’riah, was extremely rude and aggressive towards me on Saturday 7/23. Not sure if that is his actual name but that’s the name he provided. He is a Caucasian male with dark hair and a beard with a tattoo sleeve on his arm. He got very a very with me because I bounced a kids light up ball. Dollar general offered a buy one get one 50% off which included kids toys and I was shopping for early Christmas presents for my children. I took interest in the light of balls but I noticed some were not working. I checked the balls that I was interested by bouncing them to see if they worked or not. O’riah yelled at me to stop and that I could not bounce a ball in the store. I went to the register to talk to him about it while I checked out my other items, and he proceed to raise his voice aggressively. After he stop talking I ask him to put majority of my items back (except the items I needed for the day) because I didn’t want to spend my money at THAT dollar general being treated that way. That particular employee is not a good representation for any company."

"Customer ahead of me purchased milk. Left milk residue on counter. I asked cashier if she had something to clean it up with. She looked at what I was buying and said she was pretty sure it wasn't going to hurt any of it. I told her I wasn't going to put my stuff in it. She rang up and bagged my items and slid the bag right across that wet spot!"
