"The selection was not that great. I like my steak rare medium, cooked just a little past rare, but not medium rare. They did not prepare my steak right. They made me another steak, and it came out medium rare again. When you pat over 25 bucks for a steak, you should be able to order it cooked to your liking. Overall, the menu is not as good as it once was. Now, it's a typical chain .fast food disguised as a restaurant at best. And then they didn't even offer a discount after making me wait another 15 minutes for another steak. My wife ate her entire meal before I got to even start mine."
"Wife and I had a nice dinner at this location up Red Lobster recently. Our server was terrific. Food was good, except for the stuffed mushrooms, which were overly strong with a less-than-fresh seafood smell and taste. Perhaps they had been around a while since the day before was Valentine's day."
"The food was delicious. It was my 1st time trying the stuffed flounder. I wanted the endless shrimp but when I heard no takeouts, I changed my mind. I might not have been able to eat it all. You already know about the biscuits!!"
"I recently dined at Red Lobster and had a somewhat mixed experience, opting for the unlimited shrimp offering. While the service was impeccable, the food left something to be desired. The dishes didn't quite live up to expectations in terms of freshness and flavor. On the positive side, the staff provided attentive and friendly service throughout the meal, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. However, it's disheartening to note that Red Lobster seems to have undergone changes that impacted the overall dining experience. For those who remember the restaurant fondly from the past, this shift might be particularly noticeable. If you're a longtime fan, it's worth approaching your visit with adjusted expectations. Regarding the unlimited shrimp, it's just not the same as it used to be. The quality and taste didn't match up to what I remembered. The food lacked the expected freshness and tasted somewhat lackluster. Overall, if you're seeking excellent service, Red Lobster delivers. However, for those prioritizing exceptional cuisine, especially with the unlimited shrimp option, you might want to explore other options. For longtime patrons, it's worth being aware of the changes and considering alternative seafood establishments to recapture that special dining experience."
"Placed a to-go order online. Grilled rainbow trout with lobster mashed potatoes and caesar salad. Cajun chicken pasta. I also asked for to-go cutlery. The grilled trout was very thin and way overcooked. It had the texture of cardboard. Instead of caesar salad, I was given broccoli. Apparently it was clicking to her that I had already paid for the salad because when I explained to the server that I was supposed to receive a salad, she said that I’d be charged an extra up-charge for the salad. Needless to say, I never got the salad I paid for. The Cajun chicken was disgusting. It had 3 thin slices of an old chicken breast and the alfredo sauce tasted weird like it was spoiled, and had lumps in it. After a string of bad experiences with this chain (I’m a truck driver) I think I’m done exchanging my hard earned money for the poor quality of food they consistently give me. This is obviously a corporate issue because we’re having almost identical experiences at Red Lobsters throughout the United States. I’m not on Facebook or other social media, so I can’t contact anyone that way. I’m not interested in any gift cards or compensation. I simply wanted to get what I paid for. $44 for 4 delicious biscuits and lobster mashed potatoes. The rest had to be thrown out."
