"I loved visiting The Belmont 1857. The house is beautiful, the service and attention to even the smallest detail, was impeccable. Brad is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the history of the home, its occupants and the surrounding towns. I highly recommend a stay here. You won't be disappointed."

"We loved our stay at the Belmont. Lovely home with very high quality furnishings. A tranquil setting overlooking large fields in the back. We stayed in the Matriarch Suite, and enjoyed the patio directly from our room. Was nice to sit outside in the rockers and enjoy the early evening. Home has an interesting library of books from many different time periods, comfortable furnishings in many rooms (I may not have these right) and sitting room, game room, and a formal living space give guests plenty of space. This is not a brand new, sleek steel and glass high rise chain hotel, you can find those elsewhere. If you want something out of the ordinary, with character and certainly memorable, the Belmont delivers. A perfect example - the real hardwood floors creak. If you consider that an annoyance instead of bringing a small smile to your face, this may not be the place for you. Brad is a welcoming host, treating us like we were old friends. Engaging conversation and privacy when needed. Breakfast was something I would have ordered at a restaurant! Great coffee (I won't spoil the secret!) that can only come from that area. Very filling. Please note, the Belmont is very quiet because it is outside of town - so dinner would be a 15-20 minute drive to a couple of different places. Bottom line, we live 600 miles away, and re-routed our summer vacation road trip to make sure we can stay here again, it's that good."

"We can not say enough good about the Belmont 1857 and its owner, Bradley! The house is beautiful, a lot of history in that house. The bedrooms are clean and impressive! The breakfast was amazing! Bradley was very thoughtful! We came for an early morning race and he made us a breakfast to go. He is also knowledgeable about the history of the area and the home. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!"

"Truly the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. It was the perfect atmosphere for me, a lover of all things old and historic. It was clean, elegant, and the music downstairs in the sitting areas is just delightful. The breakfast was great, and Bradley was engaging and kind and gave insight to the history of the place and the modern local area. Absolutely worth the stop. I’m grateful I was able to stay there on my trip and will be back for sure if I find myself down south again!"
