Cuevas Fish House

"This place is now a tradition for us when we visit the area. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried pickles, fried peppers and tails, and hushpuppies were all favorites of our group. The portion sizes are huge and even with 2 full tables of folks we couldn't finish all of our food. Very casual and comfortable atmosphere, but the focus is definitely the food."

"If you love Jerry's fish house or shivers creek fish house but don't want to make the drive, now you don't have to! Cuevas fish house is the place to go. Oh my gosh. Everything on the menu is wonderful! It has become our go to fish house."

"Living here in South Mississippi, we are blessed with a plethora of Catfish Restaurants/House's/Shacks/Camps, etc., which means many of us are lucky enough to eat at many of these Catfish eateries, and in turn we develop a very personal expectation of a Catfish Meal. That said, Cuevas just didn't get anywhere near our expectations. Service was good, and though the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't really good either. The highlight of the meal was the Fried Dill Pickles, & it was the fact that they were not overly salty, and the biggest let down was the Hushpuppies, they seemed like they were possibly made in advance and then reheated right at service, because they were really packy. The slaw was edible, but nothing special & the whole Fish was good, but could have been cooked a little longer. All in All, there just wasn't anything about our meal that would make Cuevas one of the 1st places I'd consider if I was craving Catfish."

"Outstanding! The coleslaw and hush puppies were brought out with out ordering or asking, it’s a courtesy. The cat fish is fresh daily. The fried oysters are amazing and everything is brought out in record time with all the fixings. Prices are wonderful."
