The Home Depot

"Hate to say it but as far as Home Depots go whoever set this one up must have been on a pauper's budget and doing some heavy drugs. As many of their stores as I've been in this one is completely set up different and severely lacking on stock. Personally it is only when I have no other choice that I visit this location in Picayune. It's worth the few extra minutes too drive too Slidell too get what I need."

"ONLY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T RATE IT A ZERO! Stopped because we were already in town. Needed 10 2x4's and a box of screws... We pulled in and as we were getting out of the truck they are closing the gate to the lumber yard. We walked in the front doors and did some shopping in the garden center ( where a couple had been waiting forever to get something out off one of the cages) when we had finished shopping that section and walked to hardware no one had still shown up. In hardware we wandered around, up and down aisles without an associate to be seen... the cashier at the self checkout was polite and courteous and spoke to us... unlike the 2 workers at the entrance when we came in. When I went to get the box of screws I needed their was an associate on that aisle, but she scurried away as soon as we showed up without a peep. Found what I was looking for and proceeded to the lumber department.... where their are no carts in the entire store..... it also was void of anything resembling help. I walked around the entire department twice trying to located a cart that wasn't loaded down with returns... but NOPE! Finally young man walked through the doors and I asked him about the lack of lumber carts, he informed me that they were all out front in the parking lot. I asked how that helps the customers and he stated that, that was just their policy. NEVER OFFERING TO GO GET ONE FOR ME. As he walked off and I walked back to my wife on the other side and we discussed the lack of customer service we decided not to make a purchase at all and head to lowes the following day."

"Large selection. I like their app. The app will tell you exactly where your product is located in the store. It will tell you what isle and even the section number. My only issue is sometimes certain items are priced way higher than other stores. Other than that, good place to shop."

"I love this store. It usually has everything that I'm looking for when I'm working on a project. And they allow returns which is great because I have a tendency to buy painless that I may not need and it's easy to return stuff here and if it's something you forgot to return and you find later you can get a store credit for it"
