"I grew up in Independence and just moved back to the area after being a chef in Colorado for the past 14 years. I've been so bored with the food since moving home. My step mother and I came in tonight for dinner after church and we enjoyed it so much! Y'all had my mamma dancing to Drake right after having communion. She had a blast and she is not an easy woman to please. I was so pleased to find something out of the ordinary here that had fresh things on their menu. Good job bringing a good vibe and some energy to Amite y'all. Such a breath of fresh air. Also the male hostess Dee incredible."

"This place was AMAZING !!!! First, wr showed up late unaware of their operating hours, my 11 tear okd son & I were there to surprise my boyfriend who works at the tattoo shop next door. Even tho this place was closing, they opened the doors, let us in. Was not rushful, seated us, made us some AMAZING FOOD !!! Even gave my son a free drunk as he forgot to order one trying to be considerate of their closing up. I was impressed by the staff, MS. KATELYNN behind the bar, the hostess (I did not get her name) the bus boy (I am sorry I did not get his name as well) and the owner... everyone of these employees were KIDS, (to me in my age) guessing aging from 18- 29 years old and with impeccable work ethic ! Thank you so much for your kindness,understanding, friendliness, willingness to wait past ur hours of employment, treat my son with so much kindness.... this is the place to go! If I could give reviews to these workers managers, this crew was working late on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2024 (@closing)"

"Had a great experience. Our server was not overly/ annoyingly attentive but took care of us nonetheless. The food was terrific. It was a little loud IF you're looking for a quiet, romantic environment for chatting. But if you're looking for a fun evening out with friends, the music is just right, the drink specials are seemingly pretty good according to the table next to us, and the environment is a little different in a good way."
