"Better prices on many things than WalMart"

"Some of the ladies here are wonderful, and for a dollar general, they do have a good selection. But there’s this one woman who works the register, always on the phone, and not focusing on her job. Today she tried to refuse selling something to me because she didn’t know how much it costs, and when I was checking out of the register it turned to a nightmare. She told me my card was declined and that I couldn’t let the people behind me in line go first to figure out what was going on. She made me run my card so many times with their faulty chip reader that I got a call from my bank who had locked my card for potential fraud. She has no clue what she’s doing, and should not be on the clock by herself because she needs help for everything. Won’t be going back to this store until she’s fired, or if I really HAVE to. Which is too bad because I live down the block."

"I have to say I have never in my life received better customer service than at this Dollar General. I only ended up spending like 3 or $4 they treated me like I'd spent a $1000. I ended up calling the regional manager to thank him and the corporate office to make sure they receive the recognition that They deserve. I was absolutely blown away at the level of service and cleanliness of the store."

"My experience as an employee at this store was terrible. My coworkers were fine the manager could use more customer service training and training on proper communication skills with his employees. And should think about properly training his employees instead of throwing them to the wolves."

"The Dollar General always has what you want and now they just expanding it where they have fresh fruit and long vowels of frozen foods and the place is really clean. They got a great little staff and the way they fixed up the store in the past few weeks it's very very nice"
