"I always found great stuff without breaking my wallet here. Just don't care for their pricing policy. The price on the box was $39.99. Cashier rang up $3.99 because it was supposed to be 90% off. The cashier, who is also an assistant Mgr, refused to honor the scanned price for us. Of course, I didn't buy it. However, I was mad & upset about it."
"Dirt cheap is a nice place to shop with good deals. You can buy a name brand pair of shoes for 20$ or 30$. You can buy lots of clothing items and winter jackets two. They sell some furniture items. They also sell carts full of items where you can buy a whole cart full of items for 10$, and their stuff is brand new it's not secondhand or used items. It's like shopping at a thrift store, only the items are new and not used. They have organized stuff over the last 2 years and made it a good place to shop now for people."
"I'm from the south, dirt cheap is a staple here so I wasn't under any misconceptions about cleanliness or organization. The name says it all: stuff here can be filthy, disorganized, and worthless - but in the mess, there are extreme bargains if you have the patience to look. There are never (or very rarely) going to be organized racks with tidy sized clothing or attractive displays with carefully styled and stacked merchandise in pristine retail packaging. No sales people are going to approach you to ask if you need help. Merchandise is dumped by the truckload in here 2-3x a week - so prices are confusing and ever-changing. Dirt cheaps are intentionally understaffed with the cheapest wages the company can legally provide, so getting checked out in a somewhat timely manner is the only real hope here. I will say that of the dirt cheaps I regularly visit, this one is probably the worst in terms of store condition. A lot of the home merch and toys are strewn across tables and floors, food is broken open or rotted in the packs, and this location has a major problem with price confusion and not honoring advertised price structure. If it was any other store it would get like 2 stars. But when you go to dirt cheap you kinda know what to expect. This place is fine if you aren't expecting any kind of luxury experience. If you want a bottom dollar bargain on something, you'll probably find it here if you check back often enough. If you need organized shelves and great customer service, go elsewhere."
"RENEE is rude and lazy! There was a section of the same boots that were label “BOOTS $3”. When I went to pay for it, the boots weren’t scanning at all so the cashier ask the other cashier and another lady name Renee to price check it. One said it was $10 and the other said $4. I than told the cashier there is a section back there with the same boots all labeled for $3. So my husband went back there with Renee to show her but he forgot which aisle it was on and I guess Renee didn’t have the patience to look for it so she came back and said “ you should of took it at $4 because it’s $10 and even her husband can’t find it.” I was like yeah no, I can show you and she said to her cashier “ well you can go back there and find it cause I’m not” so I went and show the cashier, and BOOM! Found it. Cashier try to say it’s mistagged but clearly it don’t like it right? Smh!! Talk about rude! I know it’s dirt cheap and shouldn’t expect to receive 5 star treatment , but dang, you ain’t got to be rude."
"If u like thrift, discount, or big box stores, then Dirt Cheap is the place for you! They buy returns, open box & reshop items from lots of stores & pass the savings on to you. Sometimes the store itself is a little unorganized, but the deals are worth the rummage."
